The cover of this book is a little deceptive. I automatically thought that this was going to be a steamy book and almost passed it up. But I read a couple of the reviews and noticed several people say that it was clean, so I gave it a shot.

This book was really hard for me to put down. I was almost embarrassed with how quickly I got hooked and wrapped up in the story. It wasn't perfect, and there were some things that I didn't find very believable, but the plot and the characters were exciting and interesting. I really enjoyed this book. There was kissing, but it was all kept very clean.

Content: Cursing, violence/crime

I really wanted to like this book. In some ways I did. But the story line didn't quite ring true. The girl Addie, kidnapped from a truck stop, fell in love way too fast with her kidnapper. The man who kidnapped her, Charlie, was supposed to have a n accent but it wasn't very clear what it was; he seemed to randomly drop parts of his words. A failed attempt at a Southern accent, I think.
The story seemed to drag on. It could have used some heavy editing, including entire sections cut out. Many paragraphs didn't make sense, leaving me unsure of what was actually happening.
I'm glad I didn't pay for this book, but really sorry I used my one loaner credit for the month on it.

First, let me say that there were times when the writing seemed to skip ahead in time with no indication. Also, several times the descriptions were so vague that it was very difficult and even impossible to know what exactly was happening. Second, it was SO cheesy. The dialogue was unrealistic between the two main characters. Although I get his feeling for her, sort of, I did not every understand her attraction to him. One could say that he was a thief, murderer, and essentially a child molester. She is only 17 compared to his 29. There is no way her family will ever accept this guy. A few alterations, could have improved this story, because the general idea is very good and story started out strong. It lost me with her ridiculous choices and fawning over this guy who didn't deserve it.

I loved this book! The sexual tension between bad boy & not-so-innocent...The feelings for her captor, and the thrill of not knowing what will happen next! My adrenaline is still pumping!!

I am not usually a big fan of the main character getting kidnapped and then ends up falling in love with her capture. But oh wow this book blew me away. Addie was so funny and sweet, I really doubt that she would act the way she did in a real situation, but hey that's what makes it a good book. Charle was great to, he absoulty adored Addie, it was so sweet!

Wanted is a story about a young woman named Addie who is kidnapped. It was a case of being in the wrong place at the right time. Addie was the only witness to a hijacking at a rest stop and the hijackers took her to silence her. Addie is frightened and pissed off. Of all the things that could happen! When one of her kidnappers tries to silence her for good, Charlie Hayes saves her. Addie is not sure why this man who kidnapped her decided to save her, but either way she is still grateful. Eventually, Addie finds herself on board a cargo ship with Charlie. With just the two of them Addie cannot deny that she is attracted to him. Is it Stockholm Syndrome, or is she really falling in love with her captor? But Addie is still in danger for the other kidnapper wants revenge on Charlie and Addie.

Amanda Lance has written a story with a daring plot. Addie and Charlie's relationship is not a conventional one, and the danger and circumstances surrounding their meeting is not a traditional one. The author takes these extreme circumstances and writes a story about a love that came out of nowhere. The connection between Addie and Charlie is strong. They compliment each other and they leave each other breathless. This story is full of danger, intensity, and a love like no other. It is a must read!

I was given a complimentary copy of this book for my honest review.

A cliff hanger created in an effort to get you to buy the next book. I refuse to play that silly little game. Write a book and sell the whole thing. This was horrilble.

Don't waste your time with this one.

They labeled it as Erotica.. The Main 'couple' kisses once I think.. That's about it..

Unless I missed something.. Because I skipped around a lot.. The storyline did nothing for me..
