3.0 out of 5 stars Jessie James enters the pop world. C+, June 6, 2009
This review is from: Wanted (MP3 Download)
This song is very catchy and the first time I heard it, I think I wanted it. The intro line is sung in such a way that just grabbed me in. It was a while before I actually heard it on TV and saw the video so I could get my hands on this song.

And I did.

But this song isn't perfect. Miss James' vocal work is very average. She reminds me of Ashlee Simpson (who can't sing but at least has an original voice) a bit because you can hear her trying to stretch her voice because some notes just don't come out the way you'd want them to. Just listen closely and you will see that she's not the best singer.

But she co-wrote this song and that's a good thing.

It's fun yet disposable and I'm sure I will be tired of it before the month is up.

3.7 stars = C+

end note: Lyrics are fun and the tone is somewhat of a pop-rock vibe.
