3.0 out of 5 stars There is a story here
A.C. Arthur is an excellent story teller and because of that,Jason and Celise's story is well told. The vivid sex scenes are overwhelming and detract from the story. I,personally, prefer more story and less sex. I will know in the future not to read even good authors that are published by Parker.

4.0 out of 5 stars Hot Times at the Carrington, November 20, 2007
This review is from: Wanting You (Paperback)
When Jason Carrington, the owner of the Carrington Resort saw the sultry Celise Markam checking into his hotel, he knew he would have her in his bed by the end of the night. Celise had no intentions of beginning a relationship with Jason or any other man. She was in Monterey to prove to her family that she could take care of herself without their interference. She went to Monterey with the goal of opening her own restaurant, much to the chagrin of her father, who had other plans for her. The magnetic sparks between Jason and Celise start at the check- in counter and continue throughout the entire book in A.C.Arthur's highly erotic novel, Wanting You.

Wanting You is not for the faint, timid or sexually repressed. The pages are filled with steamy sexual escapades of Jason and Celise. While the majority of the pages are devoted to the sexual escapades of Jason and Celise, there is a mystery component. Jason received several offers from potential buyers for the hotel, but he is not selling, even in the midst of destructive antics that compromises his integrity and business reputation. Wanting You is an enjoyable, albeit very explicit read. It is one I would recommend to those who like erotica and romance.

4.0 out of 5 stars Looking for a hot read? You've Found It, December 6, 2007

This review is from: Wanting You (Paperback)
Having previously read several of AC Arthur's novels, I expected the mystery element that was in Wanting You. That element added a nice backdrop to what was an erotic romance extraordinare. The desire and passion that Jason and Celise had for one another jumped off the page in this VERY erotic and explicit love story. The main characters didn't waste any time hiting the sheets, but the love aspect of their relationship did develop over the course of the book. I won't ruin the plot for you, but Celise did have some emotional scars that Jason more than helped to heal. I would highly recommend this book, but agree with the previous reviewer that it's definitely NOT for the sexually repressed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Watching You, February 8, 2008
This review is from: Wanting You (Paperback)
Celise Markam refused to allow her beloved father to run her life.
Instead of falling in line with the plan her father had mapped out for
her in the family hotel business and marring a man whom she didn't
love, Celise decided to follow her own dream of becoming a chef and
opening her own restaurant. Yet, on the first night after breaking
away from her family and ending her phony engagement, Celise spent a
blazing, passionate night in bed with a tall, dark, handsome stranger
who changed her life forever.

Jason Carrington just spent the most incredible night with Ms. Celise
Markam, the most beautiful, alluring woman in the world. But his
world turned upside down after he discovered that her father was the
man who was trying to forcefully buy his hotel right from under him.
And, to complicate matters further, someone was sabotaging his hotel
with one disaster after another.

Will Jason come out on the winning end by maintaining ownership of his
hotel, stopping the person or persons responsible for causing havoc
all over in his hotel and, most importantly, keeping the woman who
stole his heart?

Wanting You was a very suspenseful, entertaining read that will keep
you guessing at the outcome as you dive deeper and deeper into the
story. One minute you might think you have everything figured out,
then A.C. Arthur flings in a twister that will have you screaming and
second-guessing yourself. The relationship that brewed between Celise
and Jason was filled with conflict, misunderstanding, jealously and
deep emotion. Both characters will just steal your heart and have you
rooting for their relationship to be a huge success. The romance
between the couple was flaming hot and well written. So, if you're
searching a good solid plot with lots of tension and some romance with
just enough sexual chemistry to take your body temperature up, Wanting
You is the perfect book for you.

A. C. has done it again with another hot story! Celise Markham is a young beautiful heiress who goes against her father by first breaking up with the man he has chosen for her and for wanting to start up her own ressturant business. Their family is in the hotel/resort business but he wants her to marry well and be treated like a princess instead of working like her mother. She leaves home and ends staying at a upscale hotel/resort owned by Jason Carrington whose hotel her family is trying to buy. He too comes from a rich family but wants to make it on his own with his first hotel/resort. Other folks have plans for the hotel too but not for the good of Jason including her ex-fiance and his ex-fiance. You will have to read this great story to find out more and it is definitely worth it. Thanks A.C. for writing another great and very hot story!

5.0 out of 5 stars (4.5 Stars) The Princess and the Fine Rich Man!!, January 28, 2009
This review is from: Wanting You (Paperback)
Celise Markam has been a pampered princess her entire life. Her family owns a chain of luxury hotels, but Celise wants to do her own thing. Celise wants to open her own restaurant. She has the schooling and the experience, but not the support of her father. She has also just gotten out of a bad relationship. Celise just needs a change and to be able to stand on her own two feet without being told what to do. Jason Carrington is also stepping out on his own without the support of his father and away from the family business. Also the son of a privileged family, this handsome hotel owner has a couple of problems. He has just met the most wonderful woman, until he finds out who she is. Someone is also trying to sabotage his hotel. Can these two find a way to make the biggest merger of their lives?

Wanting You is a romance with just the right amount of an erotic vibe without being over the top. A.C. Arthur does a wonderful job with word choice and descriptive words to paint a vivid picture of what is going on. Arthur also does a great job of developing the characters and making them and their situations believable. Wanting You is a excellent read.

This was another great book by A.C. Arthur. The story captured my attention immediately and I could not put it down until I finished. The mystery of what dhappened between Celese and her ex-fiance keeps the reader intrigued also. Arthur's title of this book was right on the mark! The hot steamy romance, powerful connection, and continuous chemistry between the two main characters will keep any reader glued to the pages until "The End".
