Following her divorce Tabitha Lambert is grateful to get away from New York and her ex's monster size ego. She's taken an assignment for the Bureau of Land Management that brings her to Nevada and the Keller brothers' ranch where she's charged with checking into their plans for a wild horse sanctuary. The last thing she expects is to find herself attracted to the brothers or the unusual wager they propose to be such a delightful distraction.Twin brothers Jonathon and James Keller are the proud owners of Farenough Ranch in Nevada. They're fun loving caring men who are well respected in their area. Identical twins, not even their mother can tell them apart, but within moments of meeting the duo Tabitha has no trouble telling one from the other. For these men, that's a sure sign that Tabitha is meant to be theirs but convincing her of that fact is going to take a little work. Attempts by Ego Ed, Tabitha's ex, to turn her into the perfect politician's wife have taken their toll on her self confidence. She's not at all sure that she's even capable of experiencing pleasure with a man, Ed always made sure to make her feel inadequate in every way possible. She's not used to being on the receiving end of smart mouth comments so Jonathon and James' playful banter delights her - especially when they propose a decidedly unexpected WANTON WAGER. One hand of Texas Hold `Em and if one of the men wins then she'll go home with them and they'll pleasure her - together and separately. They guarantee that they can fulfill every one of her fantasies and from the level of her arousal Tabitha's sure that their boast is truer than they realize. While the passion between this trio builds, there are forces at work that threaten to rip them apart. Tabitha, Jonathon and James know what they want and nothing is going to stand in their way. The question is how long do the men really want Tabitha for? Can their relationship really work long term? WANTON WAGER is a fun and smoldering romance with a bit of suspense and lots of laughs. Tabitha's a spunky gal who's got a zest for life that shines through this storyline. Jonathon and James are identical twins but their personalities are very different as are their particular sexual needs. What I found particularly endearing about this tale is Tabitha's insecurities. She's so bold and daring and yet there's this vulnerability to her that makes her very believable. It's easy to relate. In addition to an exciting romance, Morgan Ashbury delves into the plight of American wild horses and their conservation in a positive light. Chrissy Dionne (courtesy of Romance Junkies)

Wanton Wager,
This review is from: Wanton Wager (Siren Menage Amour 60) (Paperback)
Tabitha Lambert is a recently divorced woman who is throwing herself into her job as a Bureau of Land Management Agent, even if it takes her out to the middle of nowhere. She definitely does not count on her contacts being identical twins that are the hottest thing she has seen in a long time.James and Jonathan have always shared everything, including food allergies so no one should be surprised that they share the same taste in women. They even figure that someday they will find the perfect woman that will take them on as a package for life. Now suddenly James and Jonathan are confronted by Tabitha and decide to make her a gamble she won't refuse. But, will she play for keeps or just for fun? Whatever happens will be in spite of enemies, exes and others' agendas. It will be an interesting journey to say the least. Ms. Ashbury has been a favorite author of mine since I read her Fairy Godmother Series, but this is a long way from those sweet tales. Wanton Wager is an erotically packed ménage story about a woman who finally gets all she has fantasized about and a bit more in James and Jonathan. Sit back and enjoy Wanton Wager as it is a fast paced erotic tale, that won't disappoint. Tanya Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

This book was a really good read. Not too short, not too long. Just right for a lazy day with nothing else to do. The characters were well-developed and the plot was well-executed. The three antagonists were fun to read, despite the inability I had to form any real dislike for them. The relationship between the three main characters was definitely steamy. The only problem I had with the book was Ms. Ashbury's strange use of the English language. Instead of saying "the Keller brothers", she said "the brothers Keller". Not too bothersome, but also not something you see very often. She also had a fondness for words I have never come across in all my years of reading, causing the flow of the book to become disjointed as I thumbed the cursor down in my Kindle to discover the meaning of the word. While her discriptions were very detailed, her use of un-common words often had me skimming some of the steamy-er scenes. It's just not sexy having to wonder what the heck the characters are trying to say. I do not consider myself to be an avertly smart person, but I'm not dumb either. The average reader probably has not come across some of the words Ms. Ashbury uses throughout her book. However, it is a wonderful read, as I said, for a lazy day with nothing better to do. Definitely worth buying.
