Great product. Description and details are right on. Both of my sons are tying flies, material that is included is abundent and the tools are first rate. I would highly recommend this for any beginner tying flies.

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Just as described and more! tools are high quality, no plastic! all brass and stainless. The materials are high quality, vise is a great. Book is informative with high quality color pictures and easy tying instructions. Best kit I was able to find, and I did a lot of research. Buy this Item! Purchased this as a gift for Father's day based on other reviews. It has not disappointed. Materials and tools are excellent quality and instruction manual is easy to follow.

I ordered this for my Dad to teach my nephew how to tie flies. My nephew is 11 and is so excited about his new "talent". Item was just as described and perfect for teaching how to tie flies.

I ordered this product in lieu of others because of the reviews. I am happy to report that the product was sent quicker than I thought and was as advertised! Now all I have to do is start tying!

My son took a merit badge class in fly fishing last summer. It looked like a lot of fun so I bought this kit so he and I could continue to learn how to tie our own flies. Based on my research into other starter kits as to the quantity and quality of their contents, I chose this set and we are very pleased with it. The tools are all metal and perform very well. The only tool the set did not contain was a whip finisher, which I purchased separately. You can get started without it, but you will have a much easier time if you pick one up. The set contains a great assortment of feathers, furs, dubbing, hackle, yarn and thread. It also comes with a nice assortment of hooks. In my opinion, this kit contains all the materials needed for a great start in fly tying.
