I don't know why so many people s*** on this book. It's an excellent retelling of THE greatest rivalry in all.of sports. While it's not my favorite book on Woody or Bo, it brings them both together on a collision course with cameos from future hall of famers, presidents, and celebrities. It is the Forrest Gump of College football stories. And it provides a great insight on how the games best of friends turned into the most bitter of rivals (on the field).

very interesting take on 10 year war between Bo and Woody. especially if you are a Michigan or Ohio St fan and also if you are a product of that era. being a Wolverine fan I learn a number aspects about Woody that I was unaware. a good read.

Why buy a book written by someone who is a giant turd. Go buy John U. Bacons book Three and Out: Rich Rodriguez and the Michigan Wolverines in the Crucible of College Football and learn a lot about this cockroach of an author.

Awful book. Hard to follow the meandering thoughts. Filled with factual errors and poor development.

Typical garbage from this guy. Obviously someone who hates Michigan and doesn't check his facts before he publishes his thoughts for his own goals and agenda. No regard for the truth and wouldn't trust a single word that came out of his mouth or all the tip of his pen.

Brought back many fond memories; both on and off the field. Two great coaches and great men.

I could puke in fountain pen and send it to the monkey house and the monkeys could write a better book. (Royalties to the Simpsons)

Awful book by a joke journalist that hates his own school. Save your money.
