when i first listened to this i was hooked right away to the sound that the bombs were sending.my friend gave me this cd cause he got annoyed of dwayne's style of singing.i love it.war birth is pure '77 punk.go see 'em if you can live,they put on one hell of a show.

Every song is good on this CD. I've seen the Bombs live twice, they rocked both times. Duane Peters is the best. Great Voice. The Bombs are the only band that have never written a bad song.

Think you're a real rock fan, eh? Own this album? If you don't...well forget it, pal! This album needs to be in every rock n' roll collection, or your collection is incomplete. Just listen to a few of the samples...theirs no denying. Hey, I'm pretty strict what I let slip into my own collection, and the US Bombs get in without a struggle. Do yourself a favor, too...check out the other albums...they're all killer!

i own every single u.s. bombs recording and this is definately one of the best. though it's not quite as great as their earlier (and harder to find) "garibaldi guard!" it's still much better than any other band's crap out there. the last track "no company town" is simply the best slow-ish punk song ever. no other band has as much life experience and blunt insight than these guys. their cover of "that's life" is great and "12/25" is the most honest song about christmas put out. their lyrics follow more of the "black flag" path in that they relate to emotion more than the "dead kennedy's" over-political brand of lyrics. a piece of art by the band from the laundromats.

If you're looking for the best in nice oi/streetpunk, then get off you rear check out the US Bombs. Duane Peters is just a god, skating or singin or whatever, and the band's got catchy riffs and great lyrics, music, etc. Buy this and you won't be disappointed. They've got some bluesy, slow tracks, and they still rock. Oh yeah...

US Bombs are just a great band. The first song I heard was "Jaks" off of "Give 'm the Boot" mix. IF you wanna hear the music first, listen to them on Comedy Central as the house band for "Premium Blend" (Starring Brian from "Half-Baked")

Okay, I like U.S. Bombs, and "War Birth" isn't a bad release. When I first got it some years ago from the label to review, I gave it some glowing praise. I still listen to it from time to time, too, but it isn't as vital as it used to be.

U.S. Bombs is no-nonsense punk. If you're more familiar with Black Flag than Blink-182, you understand what I mean. If, on the other hand, Blink-182 is the most punk band you've ever heard, buy this now. For those who have been in the scene for far too long (me included), this just doesn't hold up as good as it did when it first came out.

Solid. Strong. Superior to a lot of punk releases. It still ain't essential, though. If you can get it at a good price, I'd recommend picking it up. Otherwise, grab some Dead Kennedys or Exploited.

The U.S. Bombs are simply one of the greatest punk bands of all time, right along side the Misfits. If you love good music but still don't buy this then there must be something wrong with you.

This CD is pure Cali punk. Its alright, but personally to much drug tal
