A nice conclusion for this series of books. I enjoyed the whole series very much and learned a lot about owls in the process. Realize that they are written for children but are a delightful read for adults as well. As always there is the conflict of good and evil, with evil being vanquished in the last novel. It also teaches of harmony among all creatures, big or small and among varying species.

I just bought this book in the store and the cover looks exactly the same except for the title. The letters are in black print, so it blends in with the trees. Is this how it really is and the online cover they're showing with yellowish writing is just so people can read it? Or did I just get a weird book?

I liked this book. Good values and a great escape at the same time. All of these Ga'Hoole books have a lot of heart and characters you can buy into.

This was an extraordinary book! I have read all the books. It was very humorous as well, the funniest character, definitely Dumpy. Even though it is one of the best books of the Guardians of Ga'hoole, the last one was very sad. Once you start reading The Hatchling, you will get to love Coryn, which only makes the last book something to cry about. I know that people say guys don't cry, I surely did at the end of the book.

This review is from: Guardians of Ga'Hoole #15: The War of the Ember (Kindle Edition)
just awesome!!!! i am someone who loves books that are really complicated. they keep my mind going. but this one is only very sequenced at the very end. and everything leads up to that one moment.........but it is sad at the end. all over all though, this book is great! but you should read the rest of the series first, or else it won`t make any sence.

In this 15th and final book in the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series, war is coming. The Guardians and other creatures of the lands will not stop until Nyra, the Striga, and her Pure Ones are defeated once and for all. There will be many fronts and many different divisions joining together to fight evil and prevent hagsfiends from returning to the world.I enjoyed this book and this whole series. Very imaginative and I felt like part of the owl world for a little while. Great work Ms. Lasky!

I have read and thoroughly enjoyed this whole series. I was ecstatic when then final book came out, however it left me a bit disappointed. I think it was a nice conclusion, but a bit rushed, like she had run out of room at the end and needed to squash the rest in. I did like it quite a bit, but think that maybe the author could have wrote two books. I highly recommend this series though; it is wonderful, and very engaging.
