This is a good short comprehensive history of the Vietnam war in Laos from 1954 to 1975. Better than the history however is the photographs. Its a great collection of rare photographs of the people/places/things of the Laos war. I dont know how it would work as a first book on the subject for anyone because it assumes a certain amount of knowledge going in. But all in all, well worth looking at if you can find it.
