Not bad - Not great,

This series gets about 3.5 stars from me. Well they are enjoyable stories to me the writing sytle with prose and ryhme is not handled well and can bog the story. They were much better when I was very young then I find them now but the violence in them means I probably shouldn't have been reading them when I was. I would say age 9-14 will enjoy these but I wouldn't stake my life on it. A fantasy book for a fantasy enthusiast - not for the mainstream.
