This review is from: War Paint (The Executioner #188) (Mack Bolan: the Executioner) (Paperback)

Don Pendleton's #188 The Executioner written by author Mel Odum is another worthy read in the GOLD EAGLE ongoing saga of Mack Bolan. Released in August, 1994, this book is yet a good read today.

Drugs, gambling, prostitution, all under the guise of Bingo are rampant both on and off the Lakota resevation. The slimeball behind all of this is one Virgil Deatheridge and he will very soon come within "Bolan's line of fire.". Virgil has a private army of "painted warriors" on motorcycles terrorizing folks both on and off the res. The government is unable and forbidden on the res but Virgil is theirs off the res, only problem they can never catch him and they have to play by all the rules. Enter our man in black who can and will enter the res to track ole Virgil down to deal with both his painted, feathered warriors and Virgil himself. Everyone on the res in the Badlands is on the warpath in this book.

Another good, solid read from both Mel Odum and GOLD EAGLE books. Live Large ... Mack Bolan.

Semper Fi.
