I had the good fortune to see this band open for Rob Dickinson (of Catherine Wheel fame) and was immediately impressed. These guys are some of the most down to earth and accessible people (Evan and Reed) you will ever meet. My friends and I were discussing CDs that you can listen to from the first song through to the last song and this CD definitely made the list. My favorites have to be TV, Insanity, What Does God See, and Rage. Their passion for their music clearly comes through in this amazing CD. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who can appreciate good music full of passion and musicianship.

I agree that this is one of those albums that you can listen to straight through. I've done it over and over! The members of War Stories create such a unique sound, and Evan's vocals are like nothing I've ever heard! The CD's kick-off with "TV" and "Lion" forces me to turn up the volume and rock out! I can't wait to hear more of them and see more live shows; I hope everybody gets the chance to listen.
In "Garden State," she mentions that the Shins "will change your life, I swear." I have no doubt that this album will do the same. This band deserves the highest praises and I cannot type anything more than "this CD is a must-have." You will not be able (nor have the desire) to stop listening.
