After reading the Iliad and wanting more about Achilles, Troy, etc. I found this book. It is an excellent dissembling of the story and gives wonderful insight and more information on this most fascinating story.It was broken down into easy-to-read and understand chapters, with lots of new references which I appreciated.

Superb. Detailed but inventive. Provides an insight into the Trojan War seldom attempted as successfully as it is done here. The material is fascinating, the recording is excellent.
