5.0 out of 5 stars a fun read, December 10, 1999

This review is from: War World vol. III: Sauron Dominion (Paperback)
A bit bloody at times, but hey, what else would fit the context? 'Aegir's Children' especially was a hoot! Here the Saurons are totally outclassed on all fronts nautical by the venerable marines and sailors of the Royal Triumvirate Navy. It's swashbuckling and biffo for all as the Saurons learn that brute force alone is not all that counts on the high (south) seas of Haven.

Brilliant book. Brilliant series. But I'm beginning to feel like an abandoned Havener. CREATORS, FINISH THE SERIES OFF. The stories are great but as a whole the WarWorld 'spin off' from the Future History universe seems to have stalled.

Ironically, I guess you could say that the WarWorld series itself seems to have met a very similar fate to that suffered by it's subject, Haven.

They both seem to have been forgotten about!

How soon will they both be rediscovered?

Very soon I hope.
