Excellent book with a very original setting,

This book is part of a fascinating, weird, surrealistic series that reminds me of Roger Zelazny. Many alternate worlds exist, all of them modeled after
our own, all of them terrorized by the Goblins and all created by the mysteriouse Gods. Only telepaths can travel between these worlds. The
technologically advanced Goblins conquer world after world, enslave the population, and wait for the Gods to make another one. A long fortold hero
called the Warchild is destined to put an end to this.
