I've owned just about every game console made and go through many games. But, for some reason, this technologically archaic game is my favorite of all time. I'd give it 5 stars, but the graphics and loading times are very substandard. Playing without any cheats makes this game extremely challenging and will eat up many, many hours. But using some cheats can be fun and also make this a total destruction of the enemy type of game (and still can take hours). Many scenarios, good intensity as you progress, and need for strategy to succeed earns this game 4 stars. Graphics and slow processing keeps the fifth star out. Great game!!

This game shows true stragey and action as well as satisfying graphics this game is rare now but it is one of the best games that i've borrowed at one time i am now trying to buy this game.

I loved this game on the PlayStation, I really did. But compare it to the computer version, and the PSX port doesn't hold up so well. Scrolling with a the joypad is difficult, the graphics are much more primitive, and the multiplayer option has to be thrown out the window. On the good side, it does contain all of the expansion modules and also allows for custom games based on player input, giving it good replay value if you've finished all of the scenarios.

However, when I only had a PlayStation to hand for a while, this game was regularly spinning inside of it. I'd give it 3 and a half, if I could. The game is engrossing, challenging and will eat up hours of your time. It's just better on a computer platform

Im huge fan of vintage gaming and older gaming systems. I recently got a PSone and was very interested in the PC ports myself being a long time PC player, since all of the games were so old my windows 7 cant play them, games like this and diablo and the red alerts, i was intrigued and bought them all. This one by far transposes the best. After the first couple of levels you really get used to it and the base management was done superbly, dont let anyone tell you not to get this, its controls are way smoother then any other rts console port especially westwoods.

This game is a classic and I loved it. Came on time and in mint condition.

Warcratft 2 is good remake of the original.It has a lot more options and special effects than the first one did ,I would recomend this game if you like the "Red alert" style of game play.

its takes a while to get any where on the missions then when you get going theres no stopping you a must have if you love games thats hard and challege to you this is your kind of game

This game isn't exactly your graphic dream its more like a nightmare, but the gameplay i think is addicting. I have played many games like this on computer, playstation, and on the 64. So far the pc has done the best job with these games, but the game systems I feel arent doing enough with strategy games. PS2 in my sense has not realesed a decent one yet. Age of the Empires 2 was set to realese Q3 of 2000. Its not Q3 of 2002 and this game is still not out. Stratagy games such as this sell very well, and game systems are stupid not to develope more like this. Warcraft II features hours of gameplay and non-stop at that (if your willing to make the commitment) one level may take several hours. This game gives a challange gamers don't see very often these days and although you may get frustrated it's for your own good. On my list of games to have Warcraft II for psx is close to the top, and thats why i give this game 5 stars.

It has bad graphics but great gameplay. If you want Warcraft 2 just get the third version unless you have a bad computer or something.
