This review is from: Warhammer: Tomb Kings (Paperback)
You are required to know the information in your army book if you want to play with them, so this is the first thing you need to buy so you have all the stats etc. for your model army. Unfortunately, rumors are that the next version of this book is going to be coming out in the next month or so, which will pretty much outmode this book completely.
The army is one of the two completely undead armies, the other being Vampire Counts, making them totally Unbreakable (Immune to Psychology), and their magic system is simplified. Together with a few other convenient features, it makes the Tomb Kings a highly specialized force albeit one difficult to use effectively in low points games (less than 2000). Their abilities are reliable, if not the strongest available, and if you choose your units correctly in combination with proper tactics you can be unstoppable against any other. Though, the same could be true for most armies. |
