This review is from: Warhammer Dark Omen (CD-ROM)
This was one of my favorite games from the past, and having played both the PlayStation version and the PC version I can say that the PC version is definitely superior.
But you have to have a computer that will run this, too old and it will not be able to render the 3-D graphics properly (mine would render the models but not the textures so everyone was sort of blue colored) or you can turn it to the two-dimensional sprites such as the older Warhammer shadow of the horned rat game. But if you have a newer computer (xp or newer) you may find that it does not work on it at all. If you do not know (or care about) the Warhammer world you will most likely find a very outdated game here. But if you're like me and want to try to survive the onslaught of the undead with Warhammer themed units than it might be fun to relive this. What I always found fun about this game, was arranging a nice gun line and blasting (or burning, electrocuting, or crushing) skeletons to paste as they charge at you, and hearing your commanders yelling FIRE! every time they launch a volley.

If you're into these type of games, buy it. Although simple and old, the game is a lot of fun. The soundtrack makes the battles exciting but the AI gets a bit predictable. Casting a spell with your fire mage and setting entire legions of zombies and ogres on fire, and watching them scream and run for their lives is quite satisfying. There is lots of magic and different groups you can add to your army. Also, it is an immense improvement over the Playstation version.
