A good strategy game, but after the first few missions the difficulty level climbs rapidly. The game is based around controlling bodies of soldiers (cavalry, foot soldiers, archers etc) rather than individuals. The missions are well tied together, but especially as the game moves on the battles get hard to control. Rent it first to see if you like it, but the Command & Conquer series is better.

despite having dated graphics and sounds the game is still brilliant and probubly the best strategy game on ps1. the game lasts for quite a while, the characters and theme are faithful to the warhammer world and the game itself is fun

Ok, all I have to say is this is a great game except for one small thing. I love strategy, and this has to be one of the better, but it's nearly impossible without the GameShark. Even with the GameShark it is very difficult. As a strategy player, I think it is a game that everybody should have.
