Knowing how skeptical some are about downloadable add-on content, these three map packs are well worth the expense.

Omega Dawn - The Omega Factory is a unique addition to Warhawk, being the only night map in the game. Some of the more popular modes like Rumble Dome (Death Match) and Pipeline have a nice layout, and this expansion will permit the use of the massive Dropship in many of your other games, allowing you to carry vehicles, and be defended by it's six Swarm Missile turrets.

Broken Mirror - The second expansion has what is probably the most popular map, the Vaporfield Glacier. This wintry battlefield has modes like the popular Grinder, the Olsavik Village, and the massive Tundra Assault. The Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) add-on vehicle, available with this one, allows you to smash through most of your opposition, and acts as a mobile spawn-point for your teammates to enter that much closer to the action.

Fallen Star - Tau Crater is the site of a downed capital ship, and the battle for control of the area will ensue throughout this location, reminiscent of Star Wars' Endor with it's large trees. The ability to equip yourself with the Icarus MK-1 Jetpack will help you move quickly accross this large space, and act like an escape pod or parachute if your Warhawk suddenly becomes a liability. The towering salvage crane is a hotly contested location, and many hidden areas provide plenty of firepower in this map.

In conclusion, the maps are beautiful, the add-on equipment is very fun, and whether you play for fun with friends or in competition with Clans, these maps are a must for any Warhawk fan.

I bought the game on bluray and I thought it was fantastic. Now with the addition of the combo I think is great. Brings new maps, weapons, vehicles and devices that can combine and allow you access to new servers. I'm from Ecuador and had no trouble entering the code you got, you have to remember is that the initial configuration of the device was originally set to come. On the other hand I think this was possible because the Playstation 3 computer was purchased in that country. All this makes the game more fun. I was never a fan of video games, but this is great and has almost caused almost an addiction that we share and control with my son. Recommended.

So these booster packs as mentioned add great dimensions to the game play. They make Warhawk a better game, introduce new maps and vehicles, and are a ton of fun. That being said, I bought them because I got tired of not being to play online because servers were using them. So if you want to play uninterrupted, buy them. 3 for the price of 2 is good too.
