i had this amp on my 87 cutlass supreme and I had 2 250amp altenators and 8 optima yellow cap batteries and 2 kicker solex 18s and blew the trunk lid off the hinges it is the best amp in the world but ur going to have to spend about 10,000 bucks besides the cost of the amp and wont work on most newer cars they will just fry the electrical system the only speakers that can handle the power I know of are kickers solex 18s

First off, if people don't get the sarcastic stupid reviews some idiot left, then your an even bigger idiot.

Now, for real. I don't own one, but have seen them in sound-off competitions. With the right subs, batteries, extra alternators, sound processing, good head unit, and enough mids and tweets to actually hear above the INSANE amounts of bass, then this amp is the bomb. It's not really meant for listening to music, but more for "burps" in the SPL lane. If you want to win in the SPL competition, then get one and a couple of the 18" Solo X subs and with the right tuning, you can reach 165+dbs.
Only downfall is the price. And not so much the price as it is the rest of the gear to compliment it properly and the electrical upgrades to power it properly. A Zapco 20840 watt rms amp can be had for about another grand and is probably better quality and has better customer support. The extra wattage will produce slightly more db's, but if your buying one, your probably competing and the extra db's is worth the extra money. But, that doesn't mean that this amp is no good by any means. It's still one badd-asss amp.

since no one on here actually placed a review i thought i would let them know. Kids this isnt your grandfathers old 10's and 2ch amp setup he had going for you back in the days, your gonna need to dig deep before you even consider looking at this amp. Lets start by saying wtf are you going to use them on. I had a 22" MTX Jhammer wired to 2 ohms and the reason why is because i cant even use them or attempt to go 1 ohm due to the fact i plan on listening to music in my 60's so get real gentleman this amp is a superb piece of equipment. try 3 orion 4000rms subs and down at the sound off ive registered 178db with 0 gain volume half way. dont even start thinking about buying this amp unless you have the same dollar to watt ratio, ive sunken 25k, and my 7 year relationship with my gf to own a piece of art. get real guys and if you do decide to go HARD!! buy it from amazon cuz these prices are amazing. DONT GO USED

You can't hook 20000 watt amps to a piece of crap 500 watt Jensen and not expect it to explode your dumb choice to not use pure common sense this amp is pure power just make sure you have subs to handle the power ... Also make certain that you have the batteries and alternator to power this amp without ruining your car ... Don't listen to kids as they are to naive to follow simple instruction
