You will find your finished harp easy to transport and store due to its size and light weight. It will sound as good as many all-wood harps, and it costs a fraction of the price of equivalent wood harps. The soundbox is die-cut in one piece from 3-ply corrugated cardboard. Fold it along the pre-creased lines into its final shape to make an extremeley durable soundbox. If painted it is resistant even to rain. Each kit includes: clear, step-by-step instructions; 3-piece hardwood frame and bridge; corrugated cardboard soundbox; screws & clamping bands; 1 full set of color-coded nylon harp strings; zither pins and tuning wrench. Dimensions when assembled: 26.5" tall; 4.5" across at the top; 10.5" across at the bottom; 19" from the front (top) of the forepillar to the back (top) of the soundbox. A note on harp tuning: new harps will continually drop in pitch for a while. It takes time for the string knot to fully tighten and for the strings to fully stretch. You will get more adept at tuning the harp the more you do it.
