Waring 12-c. Professional Ice Crusher, Brushed Stainless.

This product has lived up to my expectations for a Waring appliance. Keep in mind it is a "crusher" and not a "shaver". It will not produce finely shaved ice, but will produce very good quality crushed ice. The ice it produces is just the right size-not too big, but not so small that it melts too quickly. My only small gripe is, it would have been nice to have a cover for the chute.

We have been looking for an ice crusher for years and finally someone is making one! This is a great product - it crushes ice so easily and quietly. Highly recommended, can't say enough about it!

I've owned about 7 ice crushers in the last ten years. Every single one has been horribly noisy and has come apart within 18 months. Mostly because of plastic and cheap metal parts breaking, some even throwing the broken pieces into the crushed ice. This is the first heavy duty machine I've found for daily home use. Also, it is quiet. The others sounded like rock crushers. Also, this is the ONLY machine that completely hides the blades making them inaccessible and safer.

The ice crusher works well, however, I was a little disappointed that it did not crush finer. I knew it would not be as fine as shaved ice, but I had hoped it would be a little bit finer.

I liked the ice crusher, I just wish it crushed and not chopped the ice. I wanted an ice crusher, not chopper

This ice crusher is just EXACTLY what I wanted for my home bar. I positively did NOT want an ice shaver, which seems to be all the rage today. The size of the crushed ice pieces are much larger than shaved ice and perfect for drinks. The only limitation I have found is that you must not feed the cubes in too rapidly, which is not a problem. I am EXTREMELY pleased with this crusher and recommend it highly for drinks, shrimp cocktails, etc.

I LIKE MY ICE CRUSHER BUT THE ICE THAT YOU ARE READY TO CRUSH DOESN'T GO DOWN INTO THE BLADES RIGHT AWAY SOMETIMES IT JUST GOES ON TOP OF THE BLADES AND THEN IT DOESN'T CRUSH I HAVE TO STOP THE MACHINE AND TRY TO GET THE ICE OUT OR SHAKE IT TO GET THE ICE TO GO DOWN INTO THE BLADES

I purchased the IC70 Ice Crusher for my father for Christmas who eats ice all day long. He loves it and pleased with its performance. I used it myself a couple of times and like it as well. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants crushed ice.

The product works, although if you feed it regular size ice cubes from a tray it tends to jam, we learned not to fill up the ice trays to the top.

Our unit failed at 13 months, one of the blades started slipping and would get jammed with the ice. I tried to find replacement parts on the Internet, but could not find a source and I suspect that even if I was able to find the replacement blade assembly it would be cost prohibitive.

Overall I could not recommend this product as I believe that one year's use for $80.00 is not worth it.

My dad loves crushed ice. He likes it crushed into bigger chunks than most crushers produce. He's tried a lot of different crushers in the past, and most would fall apart quickly.

I got this for a birthday gift for him, and he loves it! It is not very loud for being an ice crusher, is very easy to clean up after use, and seems to be very solid. We are expecting it to last quite a while, even with his daily use.

It does produce bigger chunks than the other crushers, which is exactly what he was looking for. Some people may not like this. We haven't tried running the crushed ice through the crusher again, but that might work.

One problem he had is that the ice cubes get stuck in the feeder chute if he puts in too many at once. He just puts them in a handful at a time to get around that.

The crusher is fairly fast, so he really doesn't have to stand around very long feeding the thing.
