I am a professional cook of 30 years I have used a vast multitude of waffle irons. The Waring design is second to none, as is the price through Amazon. In my supply catalogs the same model runs hundreds of dollars more. I would like to mention that the models with the solid handle are preferable to the models with the hinged handle if you plan on using you machine often. If you only make waffles occasionally then it truly does not matter which model you choose, but for all of my experience any of the Waring waffle makers are centuries ahead of the competition.
