This has got to be one of my favorite games for the Nintendo GBA. It is completely addictive, fun, and even raises your intelligence!

OK I can't be exactly sure about that last one, but I do a lot of research on how to keep your mind sharp and alert, and this game is PERFECT for just about everything they say. In essence, this game includes a TON of minigames and you are never given instructions for what to do. At most you get one or two words to give you a hint - like "push" or "shoot". Then you have only a tiny amount of time to look at what is shown to you and figure out how to play the game. Talk about testing your grey cells!

The amazing part of this game is that the unit has a motion sensor in it. You turn the actual gameboy unit, and the game reacts. Some games involve spinning - a skater moves out onto the ice and you give the unit a quick "whip" to get her spinning like a top. Some games involve pushing a button, to fire an arrow for example. Many games involve spinning AND pushing, like when you turn the system to point to a given sushi piece and hit the button to eat it.

The collection of games is just amazing. You unlock them as you go. Each game has multiple levels, so as you move on in difficulty, the games get harder and harder. There is HUGE fun in replaying the games, and they get incredibly quick and tricky near the end of the game.

In addition to all the fun games, there are a ton of special items to unlock - from toys to more mini-games, from random accessories to silly gadgets.

There's even a set of mini Nintendo games, like Zelda, complete with the theme music! It's really quite fun. If you really like a particular mini-game, you can go back and replay just that mini-game as much as you wish.

Every person I've shown this to - from kid to aged adult - has LOVED the game. Some of the adults I know are really addicted to it now. Highly, highly recommended!

I loved the microgames in previous Wario titles, but these are a whole lot of fun mainly due to the gyroscope (a sensor that knows when you are turning the GBA). I think this one beats the DS version TOUCHED simply beause it is easier to grasp and use without the stylus. Playing this one in public will get you some odd looks too. Lots of secrets to unlock. Definitely replay all the levels several times - there's a lot to unlock in here. This is a great game for all ages and all skill levels. That's the real draw. The whole family can fight over who's turn it is.

Nintendo's WarioWare: Twisted! is yet another in the series of Wario Microgames. For those who aren't familiar with the concept, a Microgame is a five-second (give or take) game that has a single objective. There's no real manual, no instructions. You're just given one or two words and from those words, you have to figure out what to do. ("Slide!" "Stall!" "Only Devil!", etc.) To that end, the game is very fun: you're thrown in with no real instructions and just your wits and reflexes to figure it out. No game is so hard that you can't figure it out without a few repetitions, however, mastery of some will take numerous times.

WarioWare: Twisted! takes it to a new level by adding a gyro and rumble to the cartridge. Instead of manipulating a d-pad, you physically rotate the Game Boy. It's one of the most original and fun ways to control that I've ever encountered.

Twisted also ups the ante over previous games by introducing new gameplay modes, most enjoyably, the ticking-clock mode. Basically, in this mode, you are given a set amount of time. If you complete your microgame early, you bank that extra time. If you don't complete it quickly, you'll draw against what you've banked. Run to zero and you're done. It's a fun change on the four lives mode that is otherwise the standard.

And if you enjoyed unlockables, WarioWare has tons of them. In addition to hidden games and gameplay modes (e.g. Thrilling), there are tons of souvenirs, minigames, figurines, and other stuff you can unlock. And then you can still try to master each of the microgames on the cart.

However, for all of its depth, Twisted does disappoint on some counts. One of the most fun things on the original game was seeing some of the crazy completion animations on a microgame (For instance, the surprised reaction of the now-bald guy in the original's haircut microgame). Since you're twisting and rotating, you don't get a chance to see these reactions as much.

Secondly, while there are some genuinely fun games, there seems to be less raw originality. I found myself enjoying the games that were completely new or fun remixes of some of the WarioWare originals. However, a lot of the games felt like filler this time around. Additionally, despite the loose groupings of Jimmy, Kat, etc., each character felt like they had less of a theme this time than in previous entries.

Finally, on some of the games where you have to use a "shake" motion, if you shake too much, you can jar the cartridge loose (this is on a GameBoy Advance SP model -- I can't say if the regular GBA cartridge slot is more snug).

Overall, it's really enjoyable and a fun way to control the games. My only reservations are that the replay value isn't quite as high as previously and some of the fun touches are lost to the extreme rotation on some levels. These are only minor issues and only deduct the game one star -- it's still better than the vast majority of games you can play today.

You may want to think twice or give this game a try before buying if you're prone to motion sickness in some games or if spinning makes you feel sick.

Yes, you could save the money and spin your copy of Wario Ware: Mega Microgame$ like a top, but it wouldn't be as fun.
Wario Ware: Twisted has a built in Gyro Sensor, which detects when you move your Gameboy Advance. The control pad has been eliminated, and now you have only your coordination (and the A button) to defeat over 200 microgames. Now, for people unfamiler to Wario Ware, here is a complete breakdown of the game for you.
Plot: One fine afternoon, when Wario wakes up from a nap, he decides to play his Gameboy Advance. Upon losing a microgame, he freaks out and flings his GBA into the air, smashing it in the process. He figures that his "friend", Doctor Crygor, can fix it, so he heads to his lab. Crygor tosses the GBA into a machine called the Gravitator, which shoots the Gameboy out...with no buttons!!! Crygor says to SPIN it now. After realizing the addictive properties of such a game, Wario, the lazy, greedy, evil, fat entreprenur, decides to market a new batch of games to make a bunch of money.
WHAT THE $%#@ IS A MICROGAME, MAN??: A microgame is the basis of Wario Ware Inc., my friends. Each game gives you a time limit, in which you are to complete a task. There are two catches that make this hard. 1. You have 1-3 word instructions. and 2. You less than 10 seconds to figure out the controls and complete your task. STILL sound easy? Each microgame is thrown at you with about half-second breaks, and you have only 4 lives.
How's this game laid out?: I can't explain menu navigation, it's much too weird, but I CAN explain levels and souvenirs. Each level contains microgames designed by Wario or his friends. There are typicly 15-20 microgames you have to beat before you get to the BOSS STAGE, a level generally with no time limit, requiring you to complete more complex actions then a standard microgame. After you beat the stage, you're given a souvenir by the person. In the future, if you play their stage over, you get MORE souvenirs! A souvenir is a Record, Instrument, Figurine, Game, Doo-Dad, Toy, or Other. They're basicly things to play with. Roll a bald guy an a hard floor, listen to the Mario theme song, kick the crud out of ninjas for the high score, etc. Try to collect them all before I can!
STAGES: Wario: No time limit and anything goes!
MONA: Her games require petite little spins.
JIMMY T.: His games require HUGE spins.
KAT AND ANA: You'd better think quick, their stage requires ONLY the A button.
JIMMY'S MOM AND DAD: They've made a stage with a conglomorate of lots of the games so far. Hard AND funky.
DRIBBLE AND SPITZ: You better know what you're doing, their games need you to spin AND press the A button.
DR. CRYGOR: The inventor of the gravitator. Turn your GBA to change gravity's direction!
WarioWatch: A lot harder games, with an odd time limit catch...
ORBULON: An alien with an amazingly high IQ. Since his games require the use of your BRAIN, you get double the normal alloted time.
9 VOLT AND 18 VOLT: These best friends have made twisted remakes of our favorite Nintendo classics. They appropriatly call their stage "Spintendo Classics".

So why are you bothering to read some LAME review that I wrote? Buy it for yourself, and twist, spin, press, slide, climb, smash, shake, dunk, and catch your way through over 200 microgames!

This is a great follow up to the the Microgames. You may even get a bit dizzy on some of the games as they require you to turn your GBA in circles! This cartridge also has a rumble pack in it which really adds to the tilt feature giving you feedback when you tilt it, the downfall of the rumble pack though is that it will drain your battery quicker. I played it for about 2.5 hours on and off the 1st day I bought it and my GBA SP already needs a recharge. All and all a must have in your library.

EDIT: Battery life is not as bad as I 1st noted. Perhaps I just over did the tilting my 1st day trying out the rumble pack. I have been playing it on and off for 4 days and my battery life is still in the green.

First off, I'd like to say that yes, this game does work with the nintendo DS. This game is really fun, and is probably the best warioware game so far. It has over 200 five second micro games, and over 130 unlockable souveniers, like games, instruments, and doodads. I play it all the time, and it's soooo hard to stop playing it, extremly addictive.

WWT is the most innovative game I've ever played. There isn't much to say except, WOW!

GAMEPLAY: Wario dishes hundreds of new microgames for you, but you control the game by moving the GBA/SP/DS like a steering wheel. One game has you twisting to avoid baseballs. The game even has built in vibration! Each character has their own unique way of playing.

You also have bunches of souviners to unlock, ranging from records, mini-games, doodads, and more. It will take awhile to get everything.

GRAPHICS: They look VERY good for a GBA game. Everything is crisp, clear, and colorful.

SOUND/MUSIC: Another high-point. The game even has a neat song, Mona pizza. Sung by Wario's hot [better than Peach] girlfriend Mona!

Overall, a really fine game that you will really enjoy. It's a new golden area for Wario.

Well, I baught this game 2 days after it came out because I loved the first game for Gameboy Advance. If your thinking about buying this game, BUY IT! Best game i've ever played. Forget the graphics, its hours and hours of fun. I have the old one and ever since I got Twisted, i kept playing it on and off. If your affraid about the amount of spinning, its not so bad. Only a couple games u have to spin your gameboy all around, but over all it has great gameplay. Also, the games are not just spinning your GBA, it consists of spin, spin+A, and just A games. I enjoy the fact that there are more "games" in Twisted ("Games meaning things like paper airplane (not in twisted)). There are even random things such as pianos that you can play, and figures you can move, and records you can listen to, and stuff like that. Not just the spin and the games, theres also a rumble in it. Tons and Tons of fun. Stop debating and get it! Definitely deserves a 5 star.

I just got this game yesterday (October 4th) and I love it! It's an exiting game because they added a built in gyro sensor and rumble feature for twice the fun! I deffinetly reccomend this game for all ages! Over all, I give this game 5 stars for being one of the best games ever! Now I always keep that game in my Nintendo DS!

When I was 17, I got a game for Christmas called Kirby Tilt and Tumble. It was a Game Boy Color game, but I had a GBA at the time. It was pretty awkward to play the game...

Then a year later I became a Wario Ware fan, and own almost every Wario Ware game known to man, and almost own a DS and Wario Ware Touched. I waited a long time to get this game, and now I finally have it! I really enjoy how you can turn the GBA around and not use the buttons, although on Kat and Ana's stage, you don't have to turn the GBA around, but you do have to hit the A button. But for some games, you have to turn the GBA around and use the buttons. Nonetheless, I really enjoy Wario Ware Twisted. NOTE: Don't play this game in the car, because the pak will detect vibrations!
