Three captivating glimpses into the extraordinary lives of the greatest military minds of WWII MacArthur: The Defiant General Douglas MacArthur commanded American forces through three major wars. His powerful image, backed by awesome achievement in battle, was front page news across the country. As this extraordinary film reveals, defiance was his badge of courage but it would also lead to his downfall. Patton: The Man Behind The Myth Haunted by stories of his heroic forefathers, Patton's lust for glory became a lifelong obsession. As commander of U.S. troops throughout the Second World War, Patton demanded tremendous loyalty, becoming feared and respected by all who served him. Rommel: The Strange Death Of The Desert Fox He was Germany's youngest Field Marshall. The world held him in awe as he led the notorious Ghost Division, crushing first Europe, then Africa beneath his iron fist. The film follows the rise of Nazi Germany's renowned war hero through the ranks, from his ultimate triumph to his un-timely downfall. Extraordinary documentation reveals Hitler's secret fear of Erwin Rommel, and the uncanny truth behind the mysterious death of the man they called, The Desert Fox.

My favourite documentary subject is "Military History". This is a must for anyone interested in Military History. My collection begins with the Greeks, Romans and the Dark ages through to Medieval British history. Including the Boar war, Vietnam, WW1, WW2, The English Civil war in 1600's with the killing of a reigning English king Charles 1st. The American Civil war in the 1800's,the earlier conflict when the US fought with the British 100 years before in the 1700's. Of course General Custer and the Red Indians etc etc on and on. I now have trouble with storage and must purchase another DVD holder. The only war docu. i do not have is Korea, the forgotten war. I watch the MASH series daily and that is hilarious.
Warlords: the Generals is a very informative inclusion to my collection of War History. It is worth getting if you are interested in military history. I love it.
