This is by far one of the best CDs I have spent money on in the last few years. I was introduced to TJ Rehmi by a friend who got his CD while in England and then played it for me. TJ has a way of infusing his sultry chill out tones with exotic eastern melodies that just elevates his music above all others. If you are into chill out scene then you'll love THE WARM CHILL. I highly recommend it.

I can't believe that I am only the forth person writing a review for this gem. I mean, this album is a pure journey trough a land of silence, peace, serenity, wisdom. It flows form beginning to the end. The artist incorporates variates of sounds the take the listener away from the presence.

I rarely put too much drama in reviews, but this album made me do that. It is a deep chill album, characterized with deep and slow bass lines, some broken beat and magnificent natural sounds of the guitar. An absolute unique approach is the acoustic guitar sound which occasionally transforms to a synthesized sound with trancy effects. It's just great. Close your eyes and enjoy.

Lot of space in this music, as if it creates spatial structures that you can envelop yourself in. Music from a distant future, or past, right here and now. Just wish he had another CD coming out. The Long Wait after the Warm Chill is too long... But then again, the music makes you forget time, so it no longer matters. And did I mention the underground kick of listening to incredible artists who are relatively unknown?

If you are like me and have wondered where the creativity and intricate beauty of modern jazz has gone, worry no more. TJ Rehmi has taken it and replanted it solidly in the soil of electronic chillout.
The Warm Chill is the perfect chill album because it is intelligent and well crafted enough to demand your attention, and smooth and sensual enough to let it just groove in the background.
