4.0 out of 5 stars Worked surprisingly well on fleece April 30, 2012

Fleece is obviously not a thin fabric, so I had no business using the Lite Steam A Seam on it. But at the time I was ordering, the Lite was a third of the price of the regular on Amazon. I used it and it worked fine to hold a smaller piece of polarfleece to a larger one so that I could applique around the edges. The only reason I took off a star is because the paper backing is very hard to peel off of the "second" side.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool stuff November 8, 2010

I've never used a product like this before, and I didn't use it for any arts or crafts sort of stuff, or applique, for which it's apparently designed. I used it to repair a worn and torn area in the lining of the sleeve of a vintage jeacket I bougt on ebay, it worked great! The directions could have been clearer, but I figured it out just fine. This product is great for making your own custome repair iron on with thin fabric. It worked fine with the iron set to a low (rayon) setting with a t-shirt between the iton and the fabric to prevent melting. Great problem solver!

Works great for appliqués. Directions were a little unclear so I guessed but you can feel which side to use. And easy to iron on to anything!
