I am delighted with my purchase of this lovely "keeps me warm" goose down bed-jacket. I bought one size larger than I wear and I found it is very comfortable to sleep in. Sometimes I wear it when I curl up with a good read - it is very enveloping. I have also washed it carefully in cold water, then a cool dry and the jacket came out just like new.

I purchased this jacket for my mother, who because of some physical problems spends more time on a chaise lounge than lying down in bed; this really solved the problem of keeping her shoulders and back warm. The reason that I couldn't rate it 5 stars is that the tie after shifting and turning has torn, it would be better if it had had a large button in my opinion. However, I would not let that stop me from purchasing it, some people might rather have the softness of a tie. Pockets would also be most welcome. With the cost of energy going up this would be a great purchase to help keep warm on those cold winter evenings. It is the most attractive warm bed jacket I have seen

I bought this jacket so I could wear it around the house during the day without feeling really bulky and constricted (as I would feel in an outdoor jacket). I have a colder house and I'm a writer so I am often sitting still and not generating any body heat. I am thrilled to say that I am now FINALLY WARM! The jacket warmed me up within 10 seconds of putting it on. I am 5'6'' 125 lbs and I should have bought a S or XS, but I went with M because I knew I would be wearing 1-2 sweaters underneath. My M is so roomy (huge) I feel certain a S would have been fine for this too, perhaps even the XS. If I had wanted to just wear it to bed I would have gone for the XS. That said, I'm sure that with any size I would have needed to sew a toggle button on one side (as I did) and made a loop out of the opposite tie string. Now it wraps around me and stays put. Simple to sew--I recommend doing this. After one week, a few feathers are poking out, but they are tiny and not irritating (to me). I have never seen a down quilt/jacket that doesn't do this though. I bought burgundy, and I find it is useful for hiding stains (I wear it ALL the time) and I can go out in my garden etc in it. I also bought the robe in pale blue, S--it fits me perfectly. Last, there was a problem with my order; I called Warm Things, and they fixed it right away. Nice garments! Nice company! Highly recommended.

Hi, The color of these bedjackets are good. I bought 2. They are fine in most ways: roomy, soft, warm. What's quizzical is that there are ties (took me a while to figure out). To me these are complicated. Can get into annoying knots and are inappropriate for this garment. Just a simple on button at the top or middle or 2 buttons. Now that I think of it, the cowl lapel is cumbersome and would prevent a button toward top.
Get rid of the ties in this design. They are unwieldy..not suitable.

I gave this down bedjacket to my wife for Christmas. She requested it on her gift list as
we keep the house on the cool side and she feels the cold more than I. She loves it.
It looks great on her, it is wonderfully warm, fits just right and is very comfortable. Just
what she wanted and she is warm, finally.

The white goose down bed jacket has not only been a hit with me, but my daughter-in-law has her eyes on it too. It's pretty, it's warm,and it's made beautifully. It's very roomy and cozy. I would definitely recommend it!

Asked for this bed jacket for Christmas after I read about it online. It is soft, light weight and proportioned well for comfortable relaxing when semi-reclined. I am 5'4, 140 lbs. and the medium is very roomy; I agree that it is generously sized. Mine seems very well made, is a lovely periwinkle color, and it keeps me cozy without being too hot. I highly recommend this product.

I ordered these for my daughters for Christmas and was very disappointed when they arrived. I was prepared for the awkward ties from the reviews I read but I have no idea how the reviewers raved about how warm these were. They are so thin I can barely tell there is any down present. I had to put it on over a sweater to be comfortably warm. I was hoping for something lightweight but warm they could wear around the house instead of a sweatshirt. These are a joke-stick with the sweatshirt or fleece.

My sister and I gave this to Mother this past Christmas. She's very petite and gets cold easily. Mother said the jacket is extremely well made (she's a professional seamstress), fit to a "tee," and is easy to care for, wonderful to wear. Needless to say, my sister and I were tickled we'd found something needed and so reasonable.

I ordered a Large Bluette. It had slight shade of Periwinkle and I need a true Blue and it was too big for me, even allowing for shrinkage after washing. I wear size 8 (125 - 5'6"). I exchanged it for a Peach M. It arrived 12.9.11. I LOVE this bed jacket and so do friends who have seen it. It is a true Peach. Simply lovely! It keeps me warm but it isn't heavy or cumbersome, just light, soft and snuggly. I bought this on Amazon, returned it to Warm Things for the exchange. Customer Service was very nice, very helpful.

I ORDERED A PEACH ROBE WITH MATCHING BOOTS - WARM SPRINGS GOT IT TO ME 12.23.12, JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS AND THE HOLIDAYS. THE ROBE IS WONDERFUL TOO, NOT AS HEAVY AS MY CASHMERE ROBE AND VERY, VERY WARM. THE BOOTS ARE VERY ROOMY (COULD HAVE WORN A MEDIUM)I WEAR A SIZE 9 1/2 MED SHOE.
