I had three pairs of Warmbats (2 Kangaroo Classic short and 1 Gecko Grip short) that I ordered back around December 2005. They were wonderful! So comfortable and snug. Felt like walking around in marshmallows! I had a pair of Ugg boots for one day. Send them back the very next day because they weren't nearly as comfy as my Warmbats. I decided to order another pair of Warmbat kangaroo classics this winter. When I got them, they felt different, flimsy. The wool in my previous pairs is much, much thicker and curlier providing a much snugger fit. The wool in the pair I recently received is thin and almost straight. I replaced the removable insole with an Ugg replacement insole and they're MUCH more comfy (which kinda makes me want to give Ugg boots another try). Still not as perfect as my older Warmbats though. I'm giving Warmbat three stars for the way they USED TO fit.

I don't know what the hype with the uggs is all about... our household owns (2) uggs, and (2) warmbats... and to tell you the truth... from the outside they look similar... other than the tags and labels, and the artsy strip at the back of the warmbats, they're pretty identical in shape and size... the main difference though, would be how soft and fluffy the fur inside is... and WARMBATS are waaay softer and has thicker fur than the uggs... i got them with $20 off (thanks to amazon)... came with free water repelant spray, and an extra insole for that perfect fit... Super Great Value... so i dont know what the ugg hype is all about... i love my warmbats!

A few years a ago I purchased 2 pairs of Ugg boots, but returned them. I did so with some regret as I wanted them, but thought they cost too much. I found these while shopping sale items and read the rave reviews. I was very enticed by the sales price so I decided to give them a try. Wow!! I'm thrilled! They are very comfortable and attractive. I like the ribbon detail running down the back of the leg. The memory foam inserts which come with the boots are heavenly! The handy bottle of spray sealer and water repellant (also included) is an additional plus! I got the sand color and the sealer spray did not change the suede color whatsoever. The size in my opinion runs a tad large. I typically wear a 9, sometimes a 9 1/2, but never smaller than a 9. I bought the 9 and the boots feel more comfortable out of the box with the additional inserts already in. I'm a big time Birkenstock wearer so I'm rather used to loose fitting footwear. I imagine when the wool lining wears down some the boots may feel a little too roomy. I'd advise to consider choosing a size smaller if you don't want floppy boots. In my opinion, the quality of these boots is better than Ugg's and I particularly like the sole material (better grip) of these Warmbats much better than the Ugg brand. I very highly recommend these boots!

First I bought the wrong size. I figured it was going to be a hassle, as I would need to return the wrong size, have my account credited, and then purchase a new right-size pair. However, that process was amazingly easy using the website, there was no unreasonable delay in getting my new boots, my account was credited and debited without any delay, and I so appreciated that! Unfortunately, the exchange pair had a small flaw (no big deal; stuff happens), but the fit was much better, and this time the exchange was even better as Amazon sent out the replacement boots immediatly via next day shipping at no charge, even before receiving the flawed pair, again with absolutely no hassle.

Now that I have a pair without flaws that fit, I wouldn't give them up, not even for a pair of the "U" brand, which I believe are no better quality at a much higher price. I love the design going up the back of the boot, I love the way they look, but even more, I love how they feel and how very warm they are. Northern Utah winters can be brutal, this year even more so than normal, but my feet stay soooo cozy and warm. My husband jokes that he's surprised I don't sleep in them. I get lots of complimentary comments about how they look, and I always let people know what brand they are and where I purchased them. Great boots at a reasonable price. Thanks!

These boots are REALLY wonderful and particularly at this price. They are warm and very comfortable, even for doing a bit of walking. Unfortunately I bought them a little big. Beware ... they are true to size. Do not buy them bigger than what you always wear.

I purchased both the Warmbat Classic Tall and the EMU Bronti EMU Australia Unisex Bronti Hi Boot to compare. The Warmbat ($140) is twice the quality of the EMU ($75), which it should be considering the price difference. Warmbat has a much thicker sheepskin lining and more pliable suede exterior. The EMU also had obvious imperfections and scratches in the suede along the sole.

I have 2 pairs of Warmbats and they are very, very comfortable! They're better than Uggs, for sure. They keep your feet warm and very comfortable -- definitely worth the buy!

There is nothing warmer than my Warmbats! These are very comfortable, like wearing slippers out in the cold/snow. These come with the cleaner and also a second set of insoles, in case you need a snugger fit. I highly recommend these boots!

My husband has little circulation in his feet, and they're always freezing. He said it takes hours for him to get them warm under wool blankets. So I bought him these boots for Christmas. He put them on, and about 5 minutes later he said his feet were almost too hot! He absolutely loves them (and when he's not home, I think I'll "borrow" them!). Excellent boots, soft and well-made.

I was hesitant about buying a pair of boots that even remotely resembled "uggs". I didn't want to be another one of "those" girls, but I love them! They're so warm and comfortable. Definitely a great investment and I would recommend them over Uggs any day.
