The HW/SW Regent is a mid size wall mount unit. This NEW unique combination design allows the customer to choose how they want to install it. Product is shipped with the cord attached. However the customer has the option to hardwire the unit if they like (hardware included for both installation options). Ideal for bathrooms with limited floor space. Keeps your towels dry, warm, and fresh all year long. This will help turn your ordinary bathroom into the ultimate luxury/spa experience. Is designed to run continuously 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week. It's Filatherm dry element is reliable and energy efficient, using less power than your average lightbulb. Great for year-round use! Really helps draw moisture away during the hot & humid months. Keeps your towels from smelling musty. Also helps eliminate mold and mildew growth. Quicker heat up time, more effective drying and no worrying about oils/liquids leaking from the unit. Great for drying delicates, hand washables, swimsuits and warming baby blankets and bedding. Product reaches optimum temperature within 30-40 minutes, but you need a good 2-3 hours for the heat to build up in the fibers of the towels. Recommend leaving towels on rack overnight before initial use. Make sure to layer your towels (do not weave throughout the bars). We purchased this for our new house, and it delivers! We have warm, dry towels (not hot, not mildewy) when we reach for them every morning. We put it on a plug-in timer so it only runs an hour before we need to use it and another hour or so after, and we've had nothing but clean, dry towels. We hard-wired ours and mounted it on the wall, and it looks clean and classy and works great. This is also a great size--don't be convinced by bigger-is-better--there are plenty of rungs and we fold our towels twice and they work great. We liked it so much we got one for our kids--four towels, clean and dry. Good value, great product.

I bought this towel warmer after about a year of contemplating whether this would fit in my small bathroom. Amazon was running a terrific sale so for the price, under $100, it is hard to beat. Installation was fairly easy (I have mine plugged in). Most important, it does warm my towels. Although it's not a hot as I expected it to be. The satin nickel finish is cheap looking and the adhesive used for the stickers on the rails removed part of the finish when I took them off. Overall for the price I am happy with my purchase.

Purchasing this unit is the greatest thing I could have done for my bathroom. NO more musty smelling towels, and always dry for after a shower. The unit is hot, but certainly not burning to the touch, and DON'T expect it to create "Dryer warm" towels, just dry, clean smelling towels. I want to put one in the other bathroom, once I can figure out how to run electricity to that point.
BTW, mine was hardwired, and it looks perfect, like it really belongs there.
