It's Filatherm dry element is reliable and energy efficient, using less power than your average lightbulb. Great for year-round use! Really helps draw moisture away during the hot and humid months. Keeps your towels from smelling musty. Also helps eliminate mold & mildew growth. Quicker heat up time, more effective drying and no worrying about oils/liquids leaking from the unit. Great for drying delicates, hand washables, swimsuits and warming baby blankets and bedding. Product reaches optimum temperature within 30-40 minutes, but you need a good 2-3 hours for the heat to build up in the fibers of the towels. Recommend leaving towels on rack overnight before initial use. Make sure to layer your towels (do not weave throughout the bars). Everyone needs this!!,
By I have one of these in all my bathrooms both in Maine and Florida. the towels dry nicely in Florida, where the humidity, prevents it, and they are nice and warm when I step out of the bath in Maine,on chilly days. I love it!

It is nice to find a towel warmer that doesn't require a bathroom remodel. It is not as luxurious as the wall mount but for the 4 months out of the year that I really will use this (I live in the desert) it is great. In summer it can be easily stored out. The best part is the way it speeds the drying of my swesters and other "non-dryer" apparel. I no longer have the bathroom covered in drying laundry.

Be sure to follow the directions to fold your towels twice before hanging on the rack, so they'll make good contact with the heating rails.
