Hey, this thing is Warn! What else can I say. It's quality and worth the extra bucks. Buy it!

It's what I'd expect from Warn. A good piece of equipment everyone should have in their winch kit.

The Warn name says it all and this product is no different. Typically, you pay more if Warn has their name on it, but with safety and dependability in mind, the price is worth the added quality assurance that is inherently Warn.

Amazon has this one priced right over the 4x4 discount houses.

This pulley helps with our subsistance activities, up here in Alaska!! It helped pull up a moose that died in the river!

Compared to other snatch blocks the photo doesn't do justice to the product. Just the weight alone compared to others surprised me. It's definately built for a heaver application and with the grease fitting I'm sure it will cut down on the heat generated by friction. I also like the straight etched lines above the hole that show possible failure or overload. Amazons price was competative and shipping was pretty quick.

The inner edges of the plates are knife edged and the entire assembly is plated, so rounding these edges off will ruin the protective plating. The pulley is unbushed and is quite loose on the shaft, but it does have thrust washers on each side. I doubt this is a problem, but makes me glad there is a zerk fitting.

A must for off-road recovery allowing winching operations from any direction. Solid Warn materials and workmanship.

Now I know why these seem pricey...I was amazed at how heavy-duty these snatch blocks really are. Very well constructed with a lube point easily accessed. If you want the best and are interested in something indestructible, this is it. They perform flawlessly.

I had searched many companies for this snatch block and when I was referred to Amazon.com it was substantially less in price for the same item and I received it within a week of the order.

I have used this several times during winching and even to pull tree logs around tight corners. I highly recommend!
