Coming undone after one wash!,
By Sonja (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Warner's Women's Elements of Bliss Wire-Free Contour #2003 (Apparel)
I recently purchased this style as a possible replacement to my favorite discontinued Barely There bra. It is almost as nice as my favorite, except with slightly more padding in the cups. It is comfortable under the breast area as well. However, the straps are scratchy where they connect to the X hardware, connecting the strap to the cup. I don't know why they (Warner's) would spend so much effort into making a comfortable wire-free bra, only to use some type of industrial glue to put the bra straps together. The one I just bought, and washed on the hand wash cycle in Woolite (in a lingerie bag), is coming apart in these areas where Warner's chose to GLUE rather than SEW the seams together on the bra straps. I've never had this happen with any other bra, not even cheap ones. Of course, I've also never seen a bra manufacturer hot glue their bras together either. This is completely unacceptable for a name brand bra that retails for $30.00! It would've been a perfect bra if it weren't for this major detail. As long as they continue to hot glue their bras together, I will never buy another Warner's bra.

This bra is one of the best wirefree bra's I ever tried. It is durable after washing through a cold cycle, comfortable to wear to bed and has full coverage for no show through! I only wish more colors were available, but I love this style and won't bother looking for any other brands.

NOT a replacement for the comfy Warner 1035,
This review is from: Warner's Women's Elements of Bliss Wire-Free Contour #2003 (Apparel)
Unfortunately, Warner has discontinued the 1035, which was the best bra I'd ever found. And this bra is NOT the same. After two months of searching, I found that the Barely There Bra, made by a Hanes subsidiary, is filling in quite nicely. It's the barely there® CustomFlex Fit(tm) Striped Lightly Lined Wire-Free Bra, number 4742. Also the barely there® CustomFlex Fit(tm) Lightly Lined Wire-Free Bra 4085.Sharing this only because I wasted nearly $200 on other Warner's and Bali Bras before I found these. Happy hunting!

Warner's Women's Elements of Bliss Wire-Free Contour #2003This is not some sexy, skimpy bra here. This is a bra designed for comfort and smooth contour under clothes. Both the back strap (3 hooks) and shoulder straps are wide and the cups could only be described as "full coverage". You're not going to wear this under a spaghetti strap tank top or get any kind of sexy lingere feel from this baby. What you're going to feel is comfortable, supported and confident. The fit is great, the show through is minimal, the form is neither pointy, droopy nor push-up. The fabric is soft and does not "cut in" under the cups at all. The padding gives coverage without making it look like you're trying to be something you're not. It's almost got a sports bra feel with a regular bra contour. My favorite Warner's style was #2013 which was very similar without being quite as "mondo" (2 hook back strap, less cup coverage). Since it has been discontinued, I find this an acceptable replacement. And best of all- NO SADISTIC UNDERWIRES! Note: My bra's straps are sewn at the x connector on the cup. There is no scratchy glue to come apart like another reviewer mentioned. Maybe they changed this from an earlier version.

I had bought one of these bras at Kmart on the clearance rack for 4 dollars. I figured I'd give it a try, being so cheap. It had turned out I really liked it because it was super comfortable with a nice bit of support. I have always worn underwire bras because I need the added shaping and lift. This bra seemed to give me enough of both without the wire and was more comfortable. I went back and bought 5 more of them and wore them constantly. I am also between sizes - a little more than a B, but not a true C. This was the first bra that fit me perfectly without being too large or too small, so I was very happy. I hand washed them for the first few weeks, but then started tossing them in the washer and dryer since they had started to lose their shape and hold anyway. I thought the dryer might shrink them back to size a little and make them firmer. After a few months the light padding inside started breaking down and looked sort of blobby. With a snugger fitting shirt, it looks like you had numerous peas stuffed in your bra. I can wear them around the house, but that's about it. My other complaints are that since it has such a wide band at the sides, it really wrinkles up BADLY in large bulges - it forms an S shape basically..This is not due to your own body fat etc, but just the bra itself crawls up on the sides and wrinkles. You can see it under the shirt. If they had some boning in that side seam, they would be absolutely perfect. That wrinkling occurs after a few wears..it is not caused by months of abuse in the washer and dryer. The cup itself also creases badly in the center. They truly are very comfortable, but only look good for a few wears. It is a shame really. It is such a love hate relationship with these bras. I love them to death at first, but after a couple times wearing them, I hate all the wrinkles and the creases.

As a size 36B, this bra was the most comfortable, supportive & flattering bra I've ever tried..I don't consider it to be "padded" either, but rather nicely/thickly lined..to where you don't have to worry about your nips poking through your shirt in a cold room, & your boobs will be nicely shaped. No weird molded cups that can dent in, & no hard underwire..yet this bra gives me great support & lift's the gals back up to where they were 10 years ago..just order some more of these wonderful bras! ;)

Great shaping bra for us small-chested gals!,

This review is from: Warner's Women's Elements of Bliss Wire-Free Contour #2003 (Apparel)
This is a great bra for smaller-chested women who want a little lift and shaping without the ridiculous padding and unnecessary (for me) under wires that most bra manufacturers push on us. I mean, really? I'm a 34-A. That wire is doing nothing but digging into my chest!Back to the bra at hand: It's extremely comfy, provides nice, natural shaping, and seems to be made fairly well for the price. I also like that it forms to my body, so I don't have to worry about accidentally flashing someone when I bend over. I mostly wear this bra to my office job, and it works well under all types of shirts. It's not the most sexy thing I've ever seen, but it's not matronly either. All in all, this is a solid everyday bra and I will likely replace it with the same one when it wears out.

I seek far and wide for bras that don't give "pointy-boobs". This one unfortunately will create a CONE. I could see it as soon as I took them out of the box, they are intentionally built for pointyness.
