Warning: "Pinnacle Station" DLC is not compatible with the Platinum Hits retail version of "Bring Down the Sky"

Andrew N. says:
If you have the retail Platinum Hits version of Mass Effect for Xbox 360, the "Pinnacle Station" add-on won't register while "Bring Down the Sky" is installed from the disc. You can uninstall it and the game will then recognize the DLC, but then any save files that were played while having "Bring Down the Sky" will not be able to load.

The only work around is to either get a non-Platinum Hits version of the game, download the Games on Demand version of the game, or buy the "Bring Down the Sky" DLC. Xbox Live Support and BioWare are aware of the issue, but there is no time frame as to when a resolution will be in place.

E. Segal says:
Please ignore the OP it is no longer pertinant.

It took Bioware awhile but they have patched the platnium hits edition and it now works.

1. Delete Bringing Down the sky from your HDD (assiming already installed it otherwise skip this step)
2. Put the second Disc with BDTS in it into your 360 (And play it)
3. It will patch ( If connected to Live)
4. reinstall BDTS, it will now work (will function with Pinnacle Station)
