Book Description

April 10, 2001

Buddy Korda's story as a mild-mannered, small-town banker obeying God's call to prophesy is captured in this one volume of The Reluctant Prophet. The Warning starts off with the recurring nightmare which turns into an incredible message from God. Buddy's prediction that America is heading toward economic collapse puts his job, family, and his life into jeopardy. What if he risks it all and no one believes him?

The Ultimatum picks up eighteen months later. Through the gloom and doom Buddy calls the nation to repentance. The Holy Spirit leads him to Washington D.C. where he coordinates a movement to bring America face-to-face with its heritage despite the efforts of the Washington power brokers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fiction or Future Reality?, July 25, 2001
By A Customer
I suggest that all serious Christians read this book which gives a potential glimpse into the future. As in the past, God has again chosen a man through whom to speak His warning and then His ultimatum to the American people.

This book will capture you and place you there as you witness the Word of the Lord to the nation, the following consequences of the Word, and finally, the Ultimatum.

Watch lives be changed and souls be saved as the double-edged sword of God's Word cuts throughout the nation.

Seldom have I read a book which so easily pulled me into its drama and never have I read a fictional book which brought the presence of God so near while reading it.

Anyone who condemns the quality of Christian fictional writing has obviously not read this book (and others) of Mr. Bunn. This book is a must!
