Nothing but trouble,

This review is from: Warp Brothers Crystal Life Liner 12" X 25' (Kitchen)
Although this liner is better than most, the advertisements are not exactly correct. This stuff comes in rolls. It does not lay flat and it moves around. It's no fun if you have to constantly reposition the liner. They say there is no need for adhevsive. You will find that there are times that you are going to have to use something to keep the liner from sliding around.
I tried spray adhevsive. Noxious fumes, difficult to get the right amount where you want it. This stuff flies everywhere. I tried Goop on the edges to keep it down, the edges begin to wrinkle so that you end up having to use too much Goop. Also, anything you use to try and hold this stuff down shows through if you are using the clear liner. I tried using Elmer's regular home glue around the edges, what happens is no matter how much you try to smooth the liner the liner will have bubbles that are impossible to get rid of unless you use glue on them. The good thing about the Elmer's is that it is not toxic, dries clear, and holds. However if you do not apply the glue to the entire surface evenly it will clump and you will get the bubbles and you will see it when it dries. What I ended up doing was buying a roll of double sided tape (the strong stuff), clear, but you can still see it through the liner. I have no idea how long this tape will hold but it was the easiest and least messy of all my other attempts. The solution, do not get the clear. Get the white and use the double stick tape. You will still get bubbles and there is no such thing as getting it right the first time. |
