Let me start things off by saying I'm a huge Warrant fan, from day one. I have everything (CD's, DVD, etc.) they have put out, and even had the chance to see them live last December.
Considering this, any footage that comes out featuring Warrant is welcomed by me and that's why I give it 3 stars. But, I have to be objective about this DVD, and quite frankly it is very poorly put together. Bits of songs, bits of live performances, incomplete unreleased songs, poor audio, etc. If they're going to release a DVD, they should put out their previous VHS releases (DRFSR Live and Cherry Pie), or a "Greatest Video Hits", or a complete live show (not its and pieces of some shows).

Rockin Awesome!!!,

This is a really fun DVD to watch with all the good times they had. It was really cool to see the backstage part too. Stuff from the old times till now that is current. This is a good watch.

This video is a must for all true Warrant fans. It has some great old footage from the bands early days and old performances. It also has old concert footage and some backstage scenes. I watched this dvd after Jani Lane passed away and it made me realize what a shame he wasn't still around.

This is a great DVD, that brings you back to the Era of when music was fun and entertaining (something that is sure missing today)My favorite part of this DVD is the live stuff when they were first starting to play the club scene, lots of good stuff here, I highly recommend it to fans of 80's rock. My hope now is Jani can get himself sober because he truly is a gift to music.

Quality of image and sound are poor. Still a good item for your 80's library.

i was very dissapointed. the cover shows a recent picture and i thougth that this is a reunion concert, or at least one of the last ones, but no, it is some old material, from early shows, nothing more.

Rereleased live show with some obscure tracks.,

Majority of the live songs are from a live show Warrant released a few years ago on DVD, (The Pay per view 1991 Cajon Dome show).
There is the song, Hole in My Wall from Italy in 1992 with a brief appearance from the late Dimebag. Heaven, Sad Theresa, and Not the Size that Counts (Funny and groovy song) are from Warrant's club days...the club days before they were signed. This DVD era takes place between 86 to 1992. There is nothing to showcase their mid 90's stuff and up. There is there photo shoot from 2008 when they regrouped...yeah. From the scraps of DOg Eat Dog cd, they provided the leftovers: Medicine Man, Jonses, and the tune that many Warrant fans have been wanting to hear, POP MUSIC. These tunes are set to a slide show. There are no actual interviews, despite background questions. A purchase for only the diehardest of fans and a rental for the rest.

A great retrospective of a great 80's band!,

This review is from: Warrant: They Came from Hollywood (DVD)
I began to wonder whether or not this DVD would see the light of day considering Jani Lane's second departure from the band. It's quite a shame that Jani fell of the bandwagon again but the band is definitely more than one member and Warrant should be respected for marching forward with Robert Mason who has proven to be a powerhouse front man for the guys. The band is sonically tight and Mason is icing on the cake!
This particular DVD left me wanting for more. It's a great retrospective of a young Warrant on top of the world. Not much public video exists of the band other than the great live DVD from the Dirty Rotten tour which, to my knowlege, was only released on VHS. So it was nice to see backstage footage and the guys goofing off. Erik...what EXACTLY WERE you doing under the stage there pal?!?! My only gripe with this DVD was the quality of some of the older video. Of course that may have been all the quality that existed at that time. Oh yeah, and where's Bridges Burning Turner?!?! :-) Anyway, if you're a Warrant fan, this a great DVD to pick up. Next up...the Myth show with Mason! Bring it bi*ches!

I'm a big Warrant fan but this product looks like a desperate way to release something new with a poor quality.
