Pay NO attention to the review from Germany who called Warren's album boring and didn't have God in the lyrics. That is a very unchristian and unbeliever like attitude. I was delighted with what I heard from Warren's album and his "Mistaken" song was one of the first christian contemporary songs I ever heard when I first got into christian music two years ago.

I feel Warren is genuine in his love for God and I look forward to hearing his most latest cd.

For a new artist, I gotta give this album 5 stars. It's the quality of Warren's vocals, his message, his passion, and the whole deal. You can feel what he's trying to pass across. I just wished he had more songs on the CD but regardless, it's worth a purchase. "My heart goes out" is the beast song; he's also got an awesome duet with Steven Curtis Chapman. Just awesome!!! Warren's got a fan in me. Great first impression:)

I heard Warren's 1st track "My Heart Goes Out" on The Buzz CD, and I went out and got his CD. It is truly an inspiring CD. Warren has an amazing song writing ability, and his lyrics are truly inspirational. I would definitely recommend this CD to anyone, as I have already recommended it to all my friends. I believe he will have an awesome career singing God's praise, and I look forward to his future endeavors.

This has got to be my favorite CD of the year. It has tons of variation and great lyrics. I seriously feel like I know Warren just by hearing his lyrics. He seems like such a great guy. I give this album 4 thumbs up!

Warren Barfield is an awesome artist. I am not sure what artist he reminds me of. But an excellent choice to buy. Check out his website at ..... Listen to "My heart goes out" best song on the CD.

Many self-titled first works are mediocre, a first attempt at fame. To the contrary, Warren Barfield's album has a fresh new sound to accompany heart-felt, compassionate lyrics conveying a love for people and a love for God - for a first try, this CD is high caliber. This album is a makeup of rhythmic acoustic guitar, bass, and drums. A very simple instrumental line-up, yet one full of flavor and character. The driving beat of track #1, My Heart Goes Out, is quite rocky, and I never tire of playing this tune over and over. Some might think that electric guitar is a necessity for rock style, but well-done acoustic riffs get the job done. It's all in the strumming pattern. Other than the fact that there are only 8 tracks, rather than ten or more, Barfield's is a winner. One can't expect perfection period, much less from a first-timer. Very well done, Warren. May many become fans of yours.

This CD is the most amazing music I've listened to in the Christian genre. I have literally listened to this CD daily for months now. I can't get beyond it and it's awesome! Every time I listen to Warren Barfield's music, it's like I've never heard it before even after all of these months. It's refreshing music and the lyrics are incredible. Every song is great and I can't really pick a favorite track because they are all good. This CD is well worth the listening (over and over again)!

Not as good as the followup CD, Reach, but still a great title from Warren Barfield. Any fan of his later work should appreciate this collection as well. "Beautiful Broken World" and "10 Hours" are both amazing songs, probably the 2 standouts on the album. If for no other reason, this CD is worthy for those 2 tracks. If you're not sure about this CD, pick up a copy of Barfield's "Reach" instead.

Warren Barfield's first CD is totally awesome! His talent as a singer/songwrite is amazing, and his music is totally awesome. "Mistaken" has some of the best lyrics ever. I am very anxious to see what Warren has in store for us in the future. All in all, this CD is definately worth your money.
