These boots are Awesome. They look good and they were comfortable too. BUT be sure and MEASURE YOUR CALF and don't take for granted that because you wear a size 11 shoe that you need to get an 11 Medium Boot. I would have worn a Medium boot BUT my calf was bigger than the measurement for the 11 boot; so I had to go up a size to the Large 12-13 boot because that was my calf size. It's a good thing I did; The zip up was just right with the large boot size. If I'd have gone with a Medium I would have probably had to send them back due to the calf either being too tight or not zip up at all. All that I did was just wear a "thicker sock" and I was good.

I went to Las Vegas for Halloween 09' and walked around in these for nearly 8 hours and they didn't hurt at all plus I got a lot of compliments on them. I would RECOMMEND THESE TO ANYONE. Hope this was helpful.

These boots are great! They are well made, and actually hold up to walking in them. I used the boots for a Star Trek: The Original Series Captain's Uniform, which I wore for seven hours at a Earth Day street fair, and they held up fine.

The best $35.00 I ever spent for boots.

I picked these boots up for a Rocketeer costume I was doing for comic con. I had to alter them slightly for the costume but in the end they looked great. My only complaint is there is virtually no padding inside the boot. By the second day of the convention, I had crushed what little padding there was down, and was walking on the rubber, horizontal ribs of the rubber sole. This was very uncomfortable (was actually painful by the end of the day). The next day I traced the boot and cut two pieces of cardboard and put them in. It made all the difference in the world. If you plan on only wearing these once for a few hours, they are fine. If you plan on wearing them multiple times or all day long, some sort of insole or cardboard is a MUST.

I was not sure about the size, but I decided to give a shot. I am 10.5 and selected the size 10-11. It was perfectly fitted and it is exactly as shown in the image. I definitely recommend this boots!

I had purchased these boots to be used for my Jedi Knight costume. I am very satisfied with this product. Not only did it arrive to my house extremely fast, but the boots are very comfortable. I wear a size 13 shoe and I ordered the 'Large (12-13)' boot. There is a zipper on the inside calf of each boot to easily fit your leg into the boot, however I am able to put these on without using the zipper. I noticed that some other people stated that their calf did not fit inside of the boot. I am 6'2" and weight 160lbs and this was not a problem for me. In order for your calf to not fit inside of the boot, you have to have a VERY large calf. Overall, these were very comfortable boots and I see absolutely no problems with them whatsoever. I am going to have an excellent Halloween!

I was putting together another Jedi tunic and I needed a new pair of boots, and I found them. These boots were, absolutely perfect and I give five stars.

This worked great for my Sokka costume and I can see it working out for many other costumes. The shipping was really fast too, I was afraid I might not have gotten it in time, but they shipped it the next day and I got it almost a week before the AnimeExpo. But just to be sure, you should order your costume parts a lot earlier just in case. :)

The only down sides were that it felt a little big and the sole is a little hard. I usually wear 10.5, so I ordered the 10-11 and it seemed like my foot wanted to slip forward.

The inside sole is pretty hard, seems like it's just a couple layers of cloth over the hard rubber or plastic they used for the outside sole.

I tried to use an insert to fix both problems and while it was more cushy, my toes now seems smushed. Instead I just wore some thick socks and it work out fine.

Walked around the whole expo all day long and didn't have a problem. (Having tile floors at home might have help condition my feet though. :)

Ok, I have to admit, I really loved these. I wear a medium shoe size, but I got a large because thats what my friend wears, and these are for him. The large would be to big for my feet, I can wear them and walk with them, but they are loose. Medium of these would be perfect for me, I do not have large calves, but there is a lot of room in them around the calve area, so I wouldn't worry about that, the material they were made out of when I first saw them made me think they were cheap, (it is a little bit), but after getting over how they first looked I realized that they weren't bad, especially for the price, I'm not sure how well they will hold up for long wear, but they seem like they would hold up well. The one thing I didn't like is when I got them in, I opened the box, and they were folded over, and because of that they had creases, but those are starting to disappear as they stay out, just put something in them so that they remain standing.

Aside from that, they are a super great buy!

These boots were perfect as part of a Jedi Warrior costume. They are much better than what you can find at most Halloween stores since they are functional and not made out of cheap material. I got plenty of compliments.

I chose to get one size category up from my normal shoe size and I'm happy I did since my calf was pretty big and these zip up to cover the calf. That is something to be considered... my feet did move around a lot, but I still did moderate walking and never felt like my feet were hurting too much or felt uncomfortable. I will definitely wear these again.

Used these boots in an outdoor production of Macbeth. They are sized true, which I was concerned about being a size 14 shoe. They are comfortable and look like genuine leather. Went through all the rehearsals and shows and show no appreciable signs of wear. I highly recommend these boots. Also, they arrived ahead of schedule, so the seller is to be commended as well.
