Donny Prater's "A Warrior Culture" recently popped up on my list of suggested books on Amazon.com and because I continue to seek good books for the men who receive my men's newsletter I decided to give it a chance.I was hoping Mr. Prater would focus on how men need each other, but he starts off writing about spiritual warfare. I found myself thinking: this is okay, but how about focusing on how we men need each other first, then focus on other issues such as spiritual warfare, marriage and so forth. Mr. Prater's style is preachy and I don't think many men will get much out of this book because he starts of on the wrong foot & his style will appeal only to a limited number of men. This one is going on my "Don't Read" list.

I would like to applaud Amazon.com for their outstanding customer service. I recently ordered a book and was given an expected time of delivery. However, I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived several days earlier. I had expressed an urgent need for the book, so that I could share it with men at my church's bi-weekly men's meeting. I wouldn't have been able to accomplish that with the original scheduled date. But I was able to share the book with the expedited date Amazon so graciously provided.I would like to recommend everyone to buy their products from the Amazon web site. They have a secure web site, and they take excellent care of their customers. Thank you again for going that extra mile to please your customers.
