I enjoyed this knockoff/homage or whatever you want to call it. Seems it was done in a pretty good spirit.
Alan Morgan, a bored lawyer, is out hunting, when a timber wolf takes serious umbrage at being shot at. Luckily for Alan a Llarnian disembodied supermind from a planet in the Canopus system decides to hyperspace him the hell out of there at that time. Adventures with princess of a different hue, psionicist-faux wizards, imprisonment, political struggles and more follow. Luckily for Alan, he's a fencing champ. This, and his heavier gravity muscles make him the greatest swordsman on his new home. |
