5.0 out of 5 stars One of my favorite books EVER!, December 22, 2005

This review is from: Warrior Mothers: Stories to Awaken the Flames of the Heart (Paperback)
I loved this book so much I bought 5 copies to share. It is a collection of essays by a remarkable selection of women. A few I had heard of previously, but most were unknown to me. Each one shares her story with clarity and passion. There is a nice balance between essays that go deeper into an issue, such as depleted uranium, and those that are more biographical in nature. I was inspired by the women's courage. Many had the love to give their lives to the world; they would prefer a "nice lifestyle" perhaps, but by allowing the information to penetrate they being, they chose action. Role models for us all.
The essays do not need to be read in order; I chose them as they called to me. Please read this book! You will be both educated and filled by what these women have to share.
