This manga is a great one!It has just the right amount of humor, sadness, mystery, joy, and love.:) Sol is in it, and if you've read the other books you know how big of a troublemaker he is! To read it, it would be best if you read SkyClan's Destiny first.I honestly think it is the best manga I have ever read! And not to mention that they drew the cats very well!

I love this book! It came in such good condition and everything! SPOILERS FOR ANYONE WHO HAS NOT READ ANY OF THE SKYCLAN BOOKS... If you have read the first two Manga books, you will know what is going on. Leafstar is adjusting to being the new leader of SkyClan well and Sharpclaw and Cherrytail are now mates. Cherrytail is now expecting his kits. They are so cute together! Leafstar herself is expecting Billystorm's kits and this is a crucial part of the book. She has to deal with the challenges of being a clan leader and having kits. She has them and meets a stranger who reveals himself to be Sol. We learn about Sol's backstory. I have always loved him. He is so mysterious and cryptic. Now, his backstory makes me love him even more. I like the bad cats. Sol tries to prove he is loyal to SkyClan by becoming a warrior but Leafstar is not so sure he has what it takes. Echosong, the SkyClan medicine cat shares her worries. Sol does things in an unconventional way and doesn't seem to adapt to being a warrior. The clan had to deal with a very tragic flood. I feel so bad for Sol at the end. What he does in the end is wrong but I can see the reasons behind what he did. This book is so well-written. The dialog is fitting and I love the pictures. They are so cute and I like how the artist interprets them. You can get Erin Hunter's thoughts at the beggining. I hope that there are more Warriors manga. I am worried that there will be no more and I am sad that the main series is drawing to and end. I have been into these books for a long time. The Erins make all of their characters so complex. They develop every little detail in their stories and these mangas are a very constructive thing to use to do so. I look forward to what they do in the future. This book is a must read for anyone. Even if you are not into mangas, you might give it a go.

Despite being an avid reader, and enjoying xenofiction (books from the point of view of an animal rather than a person), I have not yet read Erin Hunter's "Warriors" books. So far comprised of four six-book series, several stand-alone "Super Editions," and a pseudo-manga graphic novel collection, completing this series looks like a daunting task, and I'm not sure my attention span is up to the task. Still, I've skimmed portions of the text and am familiar enough with the world of the Warrior Cats to understand the basics. And the graphic novels, though varied in their art styles (some of the artists working on this series are better than others), provide intriguing glimpses into these creatures' world.

Of the various graphic novel trilogies, "Skyclan and the Stranger" has to be my favorite. Telling the story of a relatively new clan of Warrior cats trying to forge a home of their own, it lets one see the world from a wild cat's point of view, and introduces the reader to the Warrior Code and other concepts of the books.

Leafstar is the leader of Skyclan, a group of feral cats making a home for themselves in a gorge, and whose numbers are supplemented by what they call "daylight warriors" -- cats who spend the day with the clan, but at night go home to their human ("twoleg") owners for security. Leafstar is struggling to balance her duties to the clan with her newfound responsibility as a mother, a job that is complicated all the more by the arrival of Sol, a former pet cat who dreams of becoming a warrior but doesn't seem to want to respect the code and rules the warriors abide by. When a series of disasters befall Skyclan, including a fox attack and a flash flood, Leafstar has to wonder if she can, or even should, hold the clan together...
