Firestar's Quest is the unique and exciting tale of ThunderClan's beloved leader and his journey to do something no cat has done before: leave his Clan to restore the lost fifth Clan, SkyClan. When mysterious warriors and fleeing cats begin to haunt Firestar's dreams, he is launched on the epic quest to discover what happened to them, and what they want him to do. Firestar is sent far from his forest home with nothing but his strange dreams and his faith in StarClan to guide him... But will Firestar be able to complete the daunting task they have asked him to complete?

This book is a definite read for anyone who has followed the Warriors series and is looking for an exciting and unique read (this tale is like nothing that has been in the Warriors books before). Not only is it a good story on its own, but it also ties in with the prophecy of The Power of Three: 'There will be three, kin of your kin... Who hold the power of the stars in their paws,' and bridges the gap between the final book of the Warriors series and the first book of The New Prophecy. Overall, Firestar's Quest was a wonderful book, and I recommend it to anyone looking for another fabulous Warriors tale.

Wonderful follow-up to the first series. Our nine-year-old, his mother, and I take turns reading aloud each night until he is falling asleep, and we are all three anxious for reading time each night. We are now starting the second series, The New Prophecy, which follows in time, and we are glad that we read Firestar's Quest first.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great journey!, August 23, 2007
This review is from: Warriors Super Edition: Firestar's Quest (Hardcover)
This is the best of all the books I have read! It explains about what happens between the first and second series. ( I had to read the entire first series over so i didn't get confused) It is well worth the mere cost of $18.00 and if you liked the original warriors you'll love this more! for some reason this book reminded me about Halo...

5.0 out of 5 stars I am hooked, August 25, 2008
This review is from: Warriors Super Edition: Firestar's Quest (Hardcover)
I am completely hooked on this series. I bought this book for my daughter at her schools book fair. I decided to read the first chapter to preview it to make sure it was at her reading level. One chapter turned into two... turned into the whole book. I could not put this book down at all. I managed to read it in 2 days. My house may be a wreck... and my husband had to cook last night... but hey... it was WONDERFUL!!!!

This book is amazing. Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I havent had a book hold my interest like this since Harry Potter!

I want another one NOW i cant wait... I laughed... I cried... I was just astonished!

I read Firestar's Quest and thought it a very good addition to the Warriors series. After reading The Sight I thought that maybe Erin Hunter was losing her touch, but no way! The new super edition turned the plot back on Firestar, and produced a new and thrilling adventure. A touch of mystery and suspense keep the plot moving fast. Highly recommended!

This book was so good. It might be the best Warriors book yet! Firestar and Sandstorm go on a long journey to recover the lost Skyclan. Along the way, they come across some problems. Even when they get there, they still have trouble. Good ending, teaches Warriors fans a lot about clans, even if they thought they knew it all. Unlike the other books in the series, this book focuses on Firestar, and Firestar alone. This book is thicker than any Redwall book, but it's fast paced, and fun to read. Good buy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Book!!!! (This review is not a spoiler!!!), October 6, 2007
This review is from: Warriors Super Edition: Firestar's Quest (Hardcover)
Warriors is one of my favorite series, and this book is one of the best yet! This book shows how a clan is formed and trained- it's a suspensful book that I couldn't put down! You don't have to read any Warriors books before you read this one, but I recommend that you read the whole series. If I could, I'd give this book 100 out of 5 stars!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Story That Has Ever Been Published!!, September 12, 2007

The book is WONDERFUL!! I noticed that Cherith had made a few misktakes like: Back at the Allegiances, it said that Sagekit was a tom, but Cherith described Sagekit as a she-cat! But still it was amazing, I felt the pain and struggle of the SkyClan cats as they fled on the moorland, and how Firestar got those visions. I admire Skywatcher for keeping the memory of Skyclan alive, he's almost as better as Jaypaw, but nearly as half though. Cloudstar was an awesome charater and I admire his courage and faith (to his mate, that is). I nearly cried when Cloudstar finally met Birdflight (his mate and kits) after all those years, and that scene that Cherith described as the group of cats parted away to reavel a long lost star (Birdflight) and her kits running toward him......it was so magical, dreamy and sad all the same........Firestar's Quest is the best Warriors book that has ever been published! And my favorite characters are (and still are!) Jaypaw, Skywatcher, and Cloudstar. And I must admit, Firestar was a great character in the book, better than the other books he was in.

5.0 out of 5 stars Filling in the blanks, September 27, 2007
By
This review is from: Warriors Super Edition: Firestar's Quest (Hardcover)
I am sure that when Midnight was released, every reader of the Warriors Series had questions as to what happened in between the saga. Firestars Quest answers these questions and a lot more(there is a spolier at the bottom of this review. Erin Hunter wrote a book that explained a lot. Hunter even details the heroic effort Willowpelt made to save her kit. However tragically, the effort led to her untimely demise. I agree that Sagekit somehow had a sex change. The editor needs to read the script from cover to cover. I mean, I have noticed that there has been a pattern of mistakes. There were a few in the Clan Guide, and if you look closely at the sneak peak of Dark River, Mousefur and Mousepaw are mixed up.

As for the spolier: it seems that Tigerstar and Spottedleaf are first cousins. That is why Spottedleaf was determined to help Firestar bring the ancestors of SkyClan together.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best story I have ever heard!, January 9, 2009
A Kid's Review
This book made me certain I wanted to read the WARRIORS series. I am a big fan, and so are many others. This extraordinary book is approximately 509 and a half pages. It's about a cat who goes on a adventure to search for the missing clan in the forest, Skyclan. The brave cat, a cat named Firestar, encourages rogue cats and kitty-pets(cats that live with people) to join the Skyclan. Skywatcher, a descendent from SkyClan, helps Firestar and his mate, Sandstorm to gather the cats to a meeting, helping to find the choice if the cats want to leave their cozy, whipcream desserts to live on nature. Interesting enough, the book has details if you get confused with, but thats ok. I hope you enjoy reading this book! There is a secret waiting to be solved in this mysterious book!
