Finally, an Honest Approach to Life, January 4, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Warriorship : Life Lesson of a Martial Artist (Paperback)
I can't decide if this is a self-help book, or philosophical. Either way, it had many areas that touched my life and helped me with a clearer vision of truth. Truth versus fact. Concepts that make one think and endeavor to apply them to ones life. I have grown in many areas because this book contained information that changed me. Once I understood certain concepts about life and how these beliefs could be and were applied to my life, my life changed...for the better. No more chips on my shoulder, no more pitty pot. I have a new place for my energy and it feels GREAT! Thumbs Up!!!!

Straight Talk on Warriorship, October 17, 2008
This review is from: Warriorship : Life Lesson of a Martial Artist (Paperback)
This is a good book to have in your library if you are a martial artist or if you are interested in the warrior lifestyle. It is especially interesting if you are interested in Ninjutsu. This book contains some straight, down to earth admonitions concerning living the warrior lifestyle and conducting yourself in your training and in life. I found it to be an interesting read and there are many useful lines of wisdom found throughout this book. It is a quick and easy read and can easily be read in one sitting, but you should take a little more time with it and give some thought to what is being taught here. I would recommend it for the martial artist.

The simplicity of an autobiographical presentation..., August 14, 2007
This review is from: Warriorship : Life Lesson of a Martial Artist (Paperback)
Warriorship - Life Lessons of a Martial Artist is presented in the veiled simplicity of an autobiographical presentation of Carey D. "Bud" Malmstrom. Insightful readers will move beyond this simplicity toward a dynamic, engaging and penetrating understanding of what it means to develop the truly heroic warriorship that our contemporary culture would rather dismiss as both archaic and troublesome. And yet, warriorship is exactly the remedy our age demands to counter the effects of ego, self-centeredness, complacency and destructiveness. Open the pages of Warriorship and be prepared to open your heart, mind and spirit toward introspection, self-examination, realignment and correct action as you continue to navigate your journey in life. Live boldly and assume the mantle of warriorship! Readers may also be interested in visiting Malmstrom's website at www.bujinkanatl.com. Ninpo Ikkan! Shihan, Onegai shimas!
