Taut Spy Novel -- Outstanding Entry in the Quiller Series,
By
This review is from: The Warsaw Document (Paperback)
Those who are Quiller fans, or those new to the series, will greatly enjoy "The Warsaw Document." This time, Quiller is sent into Cold War-era Poland ostensibly to back up a young Foreign Service officer turned spy. The mission: to infiltrate and report back on a potential uprising by the Polish underground set to take place during key East-West talks. Operating by his wits, Quiller is never quite sure who is a friend and who an enemy, or whether he is even getting the full story on his mission. As always, the action is fast-paced and the spycraft is intriguing. "The Warsaw Document" is even better than the previous Quiller work, "The Striker Portfolio," and it rivals "The Quiller Memorandum." Highly recommended.

Fast-paced, intriguing espionage by truly exemplory writer,

This review is from: The Warsaw Document (Paperback)
As are all the Quiller books, The Warsaw Document is a taut,
fast paced thriller that allows you to "shadow" the legendary
espion thru yet another harrowing mission. This time he is
without direction, feeling his way carefully through the Polish
underground on the eve of a coup, trying to locate the agent
with the borrowed Union Jack that is feeding false support
to the underground. Playing the KGB against itself using a
defected double in a high stakes cat and mouse scenario is
the only way Quiller may come out of this one.. the alternative
is 20 years in a forced labour camp.
