This is a great way to teach toddlers the alphabet. The limericks are easy for them to remember and fun for parents, too. I keep trying to find the book to buy as gifts and would recomend it highly.

The book is indeed "lighthearted and enchanting" as stated in the intro. Smaller in size, it makes for comfortable sharing and a delightful opportunity to enhance the vocabulary of a grandchild. A pleasing treasure to enjoy and to give.
