Judy and Liza at their best!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: It Was a Good Time (Audio CD)
When I first heard this CD I really enjoyed the sound of it. My favorite one is "The Trolley Song," that good old tune from Judy's 1944 film "Meet me in St. Louis." Judy's daughter, Liza sings one of my favorites, "Cabaret," live in Puerto Rico in 1972. A real must-have for all Judy Garland fans!

Judy's Best But Not Liza's!,
By A Customer
This review is from: It Was a Good Time (Audio CD)
I bought this CD from Amazon as an ardent Liza fan. I am disappointed as there are only 4 songs by Liza out of 10. Out of these 4 songs, "It Was A Good Time" and "Cabaret" are from the TV soundtrack "Liza With A Z" which most if not all Liza fans already have. The 3rd song "Together Wherever We Go" is already available on the CD "Back To Back Hits: Judy & Liza". Which means that there is only 1 Liza song to benefit Liza fans that have not been released on CD. Thankfully, Curb has chosen "I Like The Likes Of You" from Liza's 1965 album "It Amazes Me" which is still unreleased on CD.It amazes me that Curb has not chosen songs like "Nobody knows You When You're Down & Out" or "Milord" or even "One Of Those Songs".From Sony, they should have chosen songs from the unavailable on CD "Live At The Winter Garden".However, there is a gem in the duet "Don't Rain On My Parade" which was unreleased on the original album "Live at the Palladium". Judy is well represented by her greatest hits but the songs are easily available on other CDs. More of Liza's recordings from the 60s and 70s please!
