Batteries do not include covers, so be careful not to expose them to water. I have not tried these batteries on the Rebel SL1, but the fit with the Eos M is perfect. No problems.
Final opinion -
Battery life: Excellent.
Camera fit: Smooth, no problems.
Charging: Charges on standard Canon charger. No problems.
Value: Total deal.
Again I found the batteries to be higher quality and less expensive than another OEM pack. However, I'd like to offer some suggestions to the included charging block. It comes with a Euro adapter (nice bonus) and a cigarette lighter adapter (another nice bonus). Unlike the GoPro block, it can only charge one battery at a time (laying flat in the block, as opposed to the GoPro which charges the batteries on their ends, standing up). Perhaps this design has something to do with battery size and speed of charging. Also unlike the GoPro block, which uses a USB charger, it comes with a round power adapter. Now I'm not sure if other Canon cameras use the same power cord, and if the intent was to use the same plug, but my camera doesn't, and so if I'd like to use the car charger, I have to bring one more cable.
I'm not enough of a power user that I'd either use the car adapter much or burn through batteries fast enough to need to charge two at once, but should the need arise once in a blue moon, it would be nice.
Gave it one 1 less star, simply because the label is just 1 milimeter too thick that it tends to cause the battery to sometimes get stuck as you're trying to "pop" it out of the camera's battery compartment.

Used these a few times now. They hold their charge nicely and haven't had any issue so far. They show battery life on the screen just like the canon batteries do. Read morePublished 9 days ago by Josh
My only issue with the batteries is that they are just ever so slightly larger than the Canon OEM battery so it's a snug fit in the camera. Read morePublished 19 days ago by exThomson
